Wir nennen unser kleines Stück-of-Paradies 'Die wilden Haar Ranch' und Sie sind eingeladen, genießen Sie es. Außerhalb finden Sie die weit geöffneten 2 1/2 Acres durch Mikro Farmen und Reiterhöfe umgeben lieben. Die erstaunliche Schlucht und das Tal wird Ihnen den Atem rauben und beruhigen Sie Ihre müden Seele. Es ist nur eine atemberaubende 12 Meile Fahrt durch die Weinberge des Edna Valley in die Innenstadt San Luis Obispo und Cal Poly. Es ist nur ein paar Meilen zum historischen malerischen Dorf Arroyo Grande. Der Strand ist einen kurzen 6 Meilen entfernt und Lopez-See ist weniger als 5 Meilen entfernt. Weinprobe ist reich gleich um die Ecke. Nach dem Leben mehr als 20 Jahre in Südkalifornien, hier sind unsere verkehrsfreien "pendelt" ein Segen.

Mit Betten für 10 und viel Platz, um auf Sofas und Teppich ausgebreitet Schlafsäcke, es ist eine großartige Einrichtung für eine große Familie, 2-3 kleinere Familien oder Gruppen von bis zu 14.

Im März 2010 komplett, ist dieses Traumhaus unserer Familie. Das Anwesen, in den frühen Phasen der Entwicklung, ist sauber und weit offen. Es gibt Raum zu laufen und zu viel, um für die Kinder inklusive Baum schwingen, Basketballkorb, Trampolin, Erforschung und Baumklettern tun. Darüber hinaus genießen Sie unsere Feuerstelle im Freien, Boccia und Hufeisenwerfen. Wenn Sie so geneigt sind, genießen Sie unsere Hühner auch!

Die Central Coast ist ein sehr beliebten Ort zu besuchen, für seine atemberaubende Küste und Landschaft, malerische kleine Städte, reichlich Weinberge, zahlreiche Outdoor-Aktivitäten, Spezialitäten-Restaurants bekannt ist, und das Gefühl, dass Sie eine Million Meilen entfernt sind. AMAZING Experience

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. This was the best rental we have ever stayed at. We booked the “Big House” with my sister and her family for a Celebration of Life gathering. Tim was so gracious the entire time and was quick to communicate back to me and answer questions. The house is just stunning and has a perfect design, decor and layout. The kitchen is fully stocked with great appliances, knives, so many plates and cups and cutting boards. We have smoothies for breakfast so when we saw the Vitamix we were so happy! It is also REALLY nice to have the tv separate from the living space. The kids could watch a movie and we could talk without telling them to turn it down. So smart! Best of all…there’s a fire pole!!! The details are impeccable. The rooms were spacious and well thought out including everything we could possibly need during our stay. We loved the outdoor space the most though. It is what sold me on the rental to begin with. Trampoline, horseshoes, a slack line, basketball…this house is a DREAM! They even included s’mores and a bottle of wine for us! Totally unexpected but it was so much fun to use the fire pit at night. And Luther, their dog, is the sweetest and was so much fun for the kids. We really felt at home and can’t wait to book again this summer. Thank you Tim and Susie for opening up your home as a rental.

This house has something for everyone!

We met two other families here who are life long friends for a long weekend. Our group of 11 was completely comfortable and felt at home instantly. The Big House was fully stocked, beautifully decorated, had plenty of space to where we never felt on top of one another and there was something for everyone. Two of us are former chefs and loved every aspect of the kitchen, our animal lovers were in heaven with the friendly dogs and cats on the property, and the kids had a blast w/ the fooseball table/trampoline/corn hole/basketball hoop/ping pong table etc. All the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of linens and every kitchen tool we needed was available. We all kept saying how we can’t wait to come back!

Neat house

This unique home was a great location for our group of 12: 6 kids and 6 adults. Near to all the Pismo area attractions, but so many fun outside things at the property as well. The kids loved checking for fresh eggs, the trampoline, and we used the open area to play baseball. The owner is easy to communicate with and accommodating. He was willing to work with us on our requests about the property-based dogs.

Pismo Family Vaca

We came here for our Pismo family vacation with our kids and other family members. Upon arrival it was easy to find. The front gate was a little tricky when trying to exit. Dogs seemed a little intimidating when we arrived as they were barking but ended up being very friendly. I initially thought it would be weird seeing as though the owners were staying in barn apartment. However it wasn't. Mainly just seen the older son. There was some water issues. Owner was responsive as I went outside and the son was already at the water tank. Did have a issue with urinal inside but that was fixed as well by son which I got to meet and was very respectful and friendly. It gave me the opportunity to ask a bunch of questions about the AMAZING house. The ideas and history into the designs and decorations of the house were really cool and our family enjoyed everything the house offered. The garbage cans outside were full prior to us arriving so unfortunately we were not able to toss much garbage as we didn't want to leave bags outside. Overall the house is amazing. Everyone loved it.

Nice escape

Overall a nice place to tuck in and hide away from the city. The, house is well laid out and there is plenty of open space for the kids to run around. We had a nice time cooking family meals, playing board games and catching up on some reading. Worth noting, this is someone’s home, not a vacation home, so it definitely feels like you are in someone’s personal space. The homeowners +family being so close by (they stay in the barn behind the house) definitely diminishes the sense privacy, but our group had a nice experience and enjoyed our time.

Hanson/DeHoog Wedding Rehearsal Dinner

The home is a slice of the best of country living close to the beaches. We asked to hold my son's wedding rehearsal dinner there and the owner accommodated that for an additional fee but it was well worth it. I was a bit surprised to learn at the last moment that the home owners would be staying on site in the barn behind the house and worried that the commotion of our dinner might lead to conflict but they were nothing but helpful and tolerant and we ended up grateful they were there to add extra outdoor games etc. to our event that made it more fun! Highly recommend this place for families and family events!

Great house for getting a couple of families together

We met up with another family for a long weekend - 5 kids between us, ranging from 4-10. The house was great for the adults (big open kitchen, piano and lots of other instruments) as well as the kids (foosball table, crafts table, big yard, etc.). It had a great vibe and everything we needed. There were a couple of dogs who we could have left penned up, but we chose to let them roam with the kids while they were playing-- and they added a whole other level to the experience. We all hope to return someday...

Graduation Celebration

We stayed at the Wild Hair Ranch for an extended family celebration of our son’s graduation from Cal Poly and couldn’t be happier with our choice! The large lot provided quiet and privacy and the “attractions” (fire pole, trampoline, foosball, etc) added a fun element to our stay. We also loved the dogs, Maggie and Marley who were very friendly and great companions during our stay. It was a great spot for a fabulous time in San Luis Obispo. My niece has a new ambition – she wants a ranch house with a fire pole, trampoline and good wi-fi! Thanks for letting us use your dream home for our vacation!

The perfect home away from home

How could they have known?! We spent four and a half glorious days at the Wild Hair Ranch, celebrating the nuptials of our oldest son. The location was perfection...we could actually see the wedding venue from the windows in the upstairs reading area. The house and its amenities were so much like home that we seriously wondered how they did it. The house is filled with tiny details that fill the space with pure and certain knowledge that love lives there and wants you to snuggle down and enjoy yourself. It was perfectly equipped for groomsmen late night talking and dreaming around a bonfire, the frenetic scurry of last minute dressing, and the exhausted gathering of a new extended family to detox after the big event. I can not thank the owners of Wild Hair Ranch enough for their gracious hospitality.

Relaxing, beautiful family stay

Our family stayed at the Wild Hair Ranch for our mom's birthday, and we had a wonderful gathering. The house is open, clean and interesting, and everyone found their own activities. The foosball, firemans pole and trampoline kept one kid entertained while the other reveled in all the book corners throughout the house. The ping pong table, chickens and dogs were also a treat. We were able to cook at home, but the town of Arroyo Grande is charming and a minute away for coffeeshops and ice cream. Pismo beach, great wineries, and SLO are very near by for fun day outings. The house has a modern but cared for vibe with lots of light and it was perfect for us. Thank you so much for sharing your special home!

Great rental experience!

Our family enjoyed three nights at the Wild Hair Ranch. We had a blast and really enjoyed the house and the property. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated (but comfy and livable) and had many fun options for our whole family. It rained so we were not able to spend much time outdoors, but we enjoyed the books in the library, musical instruments, art supplies, games and movies in the media room. I got to take a long hot bath in the soaking tub upstairs. We felt so fortunate to have spent a few relaxing days in this family home. It was so beautiful, we felt obliged to take good care of everything. The owners are very thoughtful and respond quickly and graciously to emails and calls. It was a memorable and awesome few days!

Perfect gathering place for a family of 10

The Wild Hair Ranch was by far the coolest, coziest and most comfortable rental I've ever booked. We stayed there for our daughter's college graduation and loved the look of the home, the ample and comfortable seating and sleeping options and the location close to AG, Edna Valley and SLO. We went out for a few meals but spent most of our time cooking in the spacious kitchen and enjoying the QT with the family, TV FREE! It's been a long time since we conversed for hours on end without social media or TV. I highly recommend this place! Would have been nice to be there when it's warmer to take advantage of the outdoor living space. We all went down the fire pole at least once too! Thanks for sharing your home with us!!!

Amazing house for family fun

We had a three family reunion at Wild Hair Ranch and it was super! The house looks like it should be in a Dwell magazine spread - perhaps it was? - clearly the owners understand design. Yet it is not a high design "do not touch anything" type of place - super for kids and a great place to relax. Tim said it was kid friendly and he wasn't kidding! From the fire pole, art room, foosball, ping pong, trampoline, horseshoes, tree house, hammock, chickens, basketball hoop, and outdoor dogs, the kids ranging from 3-11 were all constantly entertained. We enjoyed bbqing and eating both indoors and outside. Close to Shell Beach (Pismo) which was stunning, and SLO. Great house to chill at or explore the area. Thank you so much for sharing your stunning home!
