If I could give it more stars, I would. Absolutely incredible home in the most perfect location. Super clean, excellent space and amazing privacy. My family had the best time! So did our dog!!!! We come to Grass Valley every year and have stayed at different homes each time. Needless to say, I think we found the one that will be deemed "THE" home for all future stays. Thak you thank you!!

We weren't in Kansas anymore!

Lovely home, with beautiful deck including a swimming pool, hot tub, and plenty of deck furniture. Beautiful flowers and plants surrounded everything. The inside was wonderfully decorated, so spacious, and livable. We visited our 10 year old California granddaughter, and her Kansas siblings and a cousin, ages 13, 13, and 16, joined us. They loved it, too! Thank you, Helga, for sharing your beautiful home!

Great place in Grass Valley

We had such a great time at this VRBO. It was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed playing Pickleball in the morning and then cooling off in the pool in the afternoon. Although the pool water was rather chilly, it was very refreshing and so clean. There is plenty of seating, inside and out. You feel like you’re on a real retreat as this VRBO is surrounded by lots of trees.

Family trip

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and comfortable. Very well stocked with everything you could need. The backyard/deck area was so enjoyable to sit and enjoy the sun and pool. Lovely home in a rural golf community

We loved the area and the house was well-equipped with everything we needed. The spa was nice to have as the weather was cold. We did need to turn it up before using and down before leaving, as requested in the home instructions. The pool was lovely but not the season for use for us. During the summer I am sure it is wonderful. We even went by the country club and enjoyed a drink looking over the course!

Wonderful long weekend getaway

First, be informed. This home is in a clean quiet and private neighborhood nestled in the hills. It is not easy to find. The drive to Grass Valley's famous West Main Street is about 18 minutes. For obvious reasons the pool and hot tub thermostats are set low. Otherwise there SAS nothing lacking in this luxuriously appointed residence. Helga has maintained this home beautifully and we had all the comforts of our own home. This was a "one and done" trip for us to attend a wedding, as well as our own reunion, coming from the corners of this great nation. I highly recommend this vacation rental for a quiet stay with night life just a few minutes away.

Great house and location

The house is big and spacious. Neighborhood very quiet and friendly. Pool was a tat bit cold for our spoiled dog, however he enjoyed laying by the pool in the sun. Humans got it. We had an issue with the internet but quickly got that up and running thanks to Helga!!

We had a nice time at the house. The area was beautiful and the home was spacious. We enjoyed the pool but it was VERY cold. We stayed in August when it was quite warm weather but the water was still very cold. Otherwise a nice trip.

This is a family home which has recently been updated. I live in Reno, NV, but have family in the area that oversee and manage the home. Any concerns or needs can be immediately taken care of.

This home was built by a family member who lived there until her death. It holds very special memories and will stay in the family forever. We love attending the Victorian and Cornish Christmas fairs, as well as the Draft Horse Classic. Live theater is active throughout the year. We love this area.

Golfers! This home is conveniently located within walking distance to the Alta Sierra Country Club - across from the 11th fairway. Wildlife is abundant and can be viewed from the back deck as well as the picture windows from the home. Daily. The swimming pool is a welcome amenity and is fully maintained throughout the year - although cold in the winter.
