Cozy 2 Bed 2 Bath Retreat with Home Office. Near UT & DT Knoxville!

Centrally-located in South Knoxville (or SoKno), the Sage Bungalow is cozy, quiet, and intentionally decorated. Originally built in the 40s, it has been fully renovated while still retaining some of that unique character and charm. This two bedroom, two bathroom home with dedicated home office is perfect for mixing business with pleasure! Only 5-10 minutes to the University of Tennessee campus, UT Medical Center and downtown Knoxville! Walking distance to Baker Creek Preserve and biking to Ijams Nature Park. This location has easy access to the Smoky Mountains, Townsend and Gatlinburg for day trips.

Come enjoy the open concept living dining and kitchen combo with plenty of seating. The master has been newly upgraded to a king bed, and the second bedroom holds a queen. Both rooms are equipped with fluffy pillows and cozy, high quality sheets. The two full bathrooms make sharing this home with family or friends easy and convenient. Plenty of parking for multiple cars and even a trailer!

You'll enjoy sipping coffee lounging on the comfy couch in the living room. It has a Roku TV, easy to input your own streaming accounts for movie night or binging your favorite show. The kitchen has everything you need for hosting brunch, whipping up a quick dinner, creating a cocktail, or sipping on a local beer. There's two outdoor areas to enjoy, the front porch with a couple rocking chairs and a carport with chairs around a gas fire pit.

- No smoking inside the house
- No parties or events
- We love our neighbors! Please respect them and stay reasonably quiet after 10pm. Please do not leave any trash outside as we want to keep the neighborhood clean.
- If you stay more than 30 days, you agree to keep things clean and tidy during your stay. We provide supplies to do so.

What an amazing house. It was the perfect place for our family while moving our son into UTK. This house is so well furnished and is beyond comfy. Everything from the towels to the bath gel was carefully thought out. Our family will most definitely stay here again.

This is one of the best places we have stayed. We go to Knoxville often and have stayed in lots of places. This house was so nice, very clean and close to everything in South Knoxville. I walked every day thru the neighborhood and felt very safe. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, extra towels, extremely soft linens. Communication with Abby was great! We will definitely return

The CUTEST, most well stocked vacation home ever!

I don't often leave reviews of places I've stayed because they were mediocre at best; however, this place was absolutely amazing. It was spotless (truly clean), stocked with basic essentials and then some, and very relaxing. The location was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend!!

Outstanding cottage

Four adults (old high school friends reconnecting) stayed over a long weekend. The house was perfect for us and came super well-equipped. The only thing I'd point out is that the hall bathroom is quite a ways from the front bedroom which was not an issue, just something to be aware of. The en suite for the primary bedroom, of course, was adjacent to that room. We explored Knoxville and would definitely stay there again if we were to return.

Knoxville Thanksgiving

Our college kid couldn’t make it home for Thanksgiving this year. We decided to go to her. This property had thought of everything. Small details every where were perfect. The house is so cute and comfortable. It’s in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We were able to make a full thanksgiving meal and made many lasting memories.

Best in Knoxville so far

We visit our adult kids in Knoxville frequently. We’ve stayed in some nice rentals. This home was the best so far. The house was spotless, comfortable and stocked with enough basics - coffee, snacks, fresh ice from the very nice fridge - that we didn’t even go get supplies until our second day. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were very large and also well stocked. The location was perfect and we tried one of the hosts recommended pizza places just a few minutes away. You could walk down to SoKno Tacos (which we knew was awesome) but we tried all new restaurants this trip. Downtown was about 10 minutes away (this would be very convenient for games or any university activities as well). It was easy to get on the highway to head to Dollywood one day. Overall, this was a wonderfully comfortable and convenient rental. Hope it’s available next time we need two bedrooms!

We (four of us) stayed at the Sage Cottage for 6 nights. Our son was getting married and he lives on the same street, a few houses away, so this was very convenient. The home was very clean, very comfortable, and nicely decorated. The hosts provided multiple sets of towels & bedding,plus there was a washer/dryer. They even brought a few extra outdoor chairs for us to use around the fire pit in the back yard. Denise was very helpful! We will definitely stay here again on future visits to Knoxville.
