We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Huntsville while skiing at Snowbasin. The location couldn’t have been better—just a quick 15-minute drive to the resort, which made getting to and from the slopes incredibly easy.The house itself was absolutely lovely and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After long days of skiing, we especially appreciated relaxing in the hot tub and warming up by the two fireplaces—such a cozy and welcome touch.The surrounding area was also a highlight. Huntsville has a charming coffee shop we enjoyed visiting, and nearby Eden offered convenient options including a grocery store, liquor store, and great takeout (we particularly enjoyed the pizza and Thai food).The property manager lives nearby and was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which added an extra level of comfort and ease to our stay.We would happily return and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient base for a Snowbasin ski trip. The house would also be beautiful in the summer, as it sits right on the shore of the reservoir.

Ski trip getaway

The property was perfect for our two-family ski getaway. There are gorgeous views and enjoyed the steam shower and hot tub apres ski. I would definitely stay again.Loved the yoga room and all of the amenities. I am so happy with our stay and the memories we made at the Lakehouse.

Great vacation in winter wonderland

The house was great. Everything is brand new and the house was well equipped - lots of nice amenities that are often missing in rentals. Neighborhood was quiet and the lake front setting was really nice.

Gorgeous property

We loved our stay. The home is beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable ñ, the bathrooms are spa like and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook at home. We loved the proximity to Snowbasin Resort. I will definitely return in the summer to take advantage of the lake front access.

Very nice! We all enjoyed our stay at the house which suited our needs very well. We fell in love with Huntsville and the surrounding areas. The lake is beautiful! Nice house, owner was kind of intense

The house is great. The only issue we had was the multiple txts from the owner prior to our arrival. The tone was not very welcoming, more like lecturing is on what we could/ could not do.

Hi Jeff, we are so sorry that you felt our correspondence was unwelcoming. We by no means meant for it to come across that way. We have very strict rules for our home in order to keep it at the highest level possible for our guests and unfortunately have had several issues with guests not adhering to the rules and regulations stated in our listing and rental agreement. Because of this, we have had to reinforce the rules in communication to make sure that everyone is on the same page. Again, we are very sorry that this came across as unwelcoming and lecturing. We had just hoped to give specific details and info. We will definitely take your feedback and try to make sure our correspondence is more welcoming in the future.

Friends Trip

Great house for our group trip, we had some flooding issues related to unseasonably warm weather and they were quick to act however they were difficult with refunding us for the basement being unusable, and made some false claims about the state of the house when we left so i would recommend taking pictures upon arrival and before you leave.

As a luxury rental home, we communicate directly with our in-house cleaning and management staff who confirm all details of how the home is treated and cared for by our guests. In order to maintain the highest quality rental, we do employ very strict rules. All of these rules and regulations are stated openly in the rental agreement that is required to be signed before booking. This is to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that our home maintains its quality & charm.

Beautiful Home on the Lake

We had such an amazing stay at Casie's home on the lake. Our family and friends have taken a trip to Huntsville each year for the past seven years and this was our best trip yet because of this amazing property! We loved everything about this beautiful home! The check-in/check-out process was a breeze and the house had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Casie was gracious, accommodating and easy to get ahold of when needed. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We hope to return in the years to come!

Beautiful Home with Stunning Views

This was the perfect house for our ski vacation! it was incredibly private and the location couldn't have been better. The home has been completely remodeled and is even more stunning than the photos. The host, Casie was gracious and incredibly helpful with all of our questions. Our kids loved hanging out downstairs in the huge game room! There was even a flex/gym office space with yoga mats and light hand/ ankle weights, so we were able to workout while we were there. Coming back for sure! This spot would be unreal in the spring and summer.

Amazing Property!

Incredible location. Less than 15 minutes to Snow Basin Resort. Stunning property! Literally lake front- the back yard was huge and the views were incredible. Very private! We loved Huntsville town and visited the local coffee shop, library and Shooting Star Salon that were all less than a mile from the home. Everything in the home is BRAND NEW, including the furniture and decorations. It is light and bright and so beautiful. We loved the private steam room in the Master Bathroom and the huge soaking tub! The massive backyard was the highlight for our kids. They spent a lot of time out there, playing in the snow.

Great house!

The owners made the whole process so easy. Their communication and response times were fast and efficient. The house is set up really well with 3 basement bedrooms and plenty of open space, upstairs the 2 bedrooms & living space was bright and cheery. The house accommodated our skiing family perfectly! The kitchen has everything we needed. We only ask that more dining or folding chairs be added to seat a group of 10 or 12. The 2 car garage was a bonus to store our skis & keep our cars clear of snow. When the sun came out the view was spectacular as is the yard and setting, Snowbasin ski area is really easy to get to from this location!!.

Loved it!

What a great spot for a family vacation! The house was great and had everything we needed. Loved all the small touches! Casie went above and beyond to ensure our arrival was smooth and everything was in order. She had some great recommendations for activities and was very responsive to my questions. The hot tub was enjoyed nightly to relax under the stars. We had 5 kiddos under 5 who spent hours outside on the trampoline and loved playing in the sand on the volleyball court. Great location -The Shooting Star Saloon is within walking distance and was fun to walk to for a quick night cap (they close at 9p). We also walked into town to the coffee shop and great park which the kiddos loved! It was just a quick drive to several great hikes and most activities. Sad that our stay went by so fast!

We loved our stay at Casie’s house! Beautiful place, and also she was very responsive and willing to help and give advice on anything needed! Truly felt like a friend I knew. My husband, 7 year old son, and 16 month old daughter were comfortable and happy to have found a place close to the beautiful mountains that was comfortable. It’s bright with beautiful views. Plenty of room to stretch out. A lot of enjoyable amenities - steam shower, heated toilet seat in master, hot tub, area to workout and do yoga, movie room downstairs logged in to all the services needed, and air hockey! Should I mention my 7 year old and 16 month old enjoyed soccer downstairs in the game room? Haha they were careful but it was big enough to play gently and enjoyed every second! I love hearing their giggles as I read a book upstairs on the couch and enjoyed the Mountain View! My husband grilled steaks for us - kitchen had everything you needed! Stay here, you won’t regret it!! Also, the drive to and from ANYWHERE to any part of town is so pretty as you are surround by mountains. I love the small town feel of Huntsville. We will be back!! We look forward to taking advantage of the volleyball court, trampoline, and lake access in the summer :) thank you Casie!!!
