Quinta Monarca is a huge property with private access to the lake where you can relax and make good memories with your family and friends, and swim in the gorgeous pool while enjoying the view of the lake. You can take a ride in the kayak around the lake for free. Jet skis can be rented nearby. Just five minutes from the house there are a variety of restaurants.
It is two properties in one place, the first one is a cozy place to relax with your family and the second property has private access to the lake, both properties are in front of each other.

This place is amazing! I wish we'd stayed one more night instead of near the volcano trailhead. Only an hour's drive to the trailhead and we could have been in this wonderful little compound, swimming in the lake and pool. There were only 3 of us, but I can see that this would be a fantastic event space. The host helped us order food for delivery so that we had more swim time. Really exceptional place.

We had a fantastic stay at Quinta Monarco! The house was perfect for our group — plenty of comfortable beds, lots of bathrooms, and great air conditioning (a must in El Salvador!). Everything felt clean and well cared for. The team on site cooked delicious meals for us, and anytime we needed something, they fixed it quickly and cheerfully.The location right by the lake is absolutely beautiful, and there are so many great outdoor spaces to relax, eat, or play. It was the perfect mix of comfort and fun. The hosts were easy to work with from start to finish, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.We would definitely stay here again — highly recommend Quinta Monarco!

Fantastic stay

Highly recommend this property, it has everything you need. Wilfredo and Omar were amazing and helped with our every need. The owner Cecilia helped facilitate a trip to the medical clinic for myself as I had a bad fall before arriving. The house is very clean, the property is beautiful and well kept. No matter the age of your family this house has everything. I look forward to coming back again.

Lake Coatepeque Villa

Our family had a great time at Quinta Monarca. The property was exactly as described and communication beforehand was excellent. The property was also very well secured and in good condition. It is a great spot for a family looking to relax at the lake and as a jumping off spot for different activities in El Salvador.A few things were troublesome. We were traveling from the beach to the property. Check-in was 2PM. We felt very pressured by the property manager to arrive at 2PM or earlier. We asked about a few items and were just told he was waiting. We also stopped for lunch and felt pressured to hurry.Secondly, there were a few odd odors in the home the owners were masking with various candles and scents.Finally, we went out to sit on the deck one night and found an enormous pile of poop next to the bench. Mind you the gate to the dock is locked with only the staff having access.

Hi Jillian, I am so sorry about what happen. the person who works in Monarca didn't understand few points what he supposed to explain You about the room what your mention is the massage room it was locked, we only open when is reservation made for massage. and about the poop my neighbor told me there is a dog from outside it happens to them, that is the reason no dogs allowed in Monarca. I know it was hard for you to understand Wilfredo It was the reason l sent you, my cell. But thank you for your feedback, we will work on those improvements. Aside from those issues. 24 hours of lake life and peace

From the very start of booking, communication was excellent and fast in responding. We arrived with what felt like VIp service and security. They were very thorough in explaining everything from the location of kitchen supplies, how to use code to lock and enter the house as well as gates. The minute we pulled in you see a beautiful courtyard, the house and a firpit with seating. Three bedrooms spacious with 3 full bathrooms. Large kitchen and dining area. Super clean!! You walk literally 20 feet across the road to the backyard with pool, full bathhouse, life vests, grill, tables and chairs, a sunbathing area along with beautiful dock to sit right on the lake ..Stunning!! Sunrise is amazing! Everyone was in love with this house, it will not disappoint. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to stay here. At the end I was given a Cosita (souvenir) so thoughtful. We did jet ski for an hour and took a boat ride around the lake as well. We truly experienced Coatepeque in the perfect house surrounded by nature and all its peaceful beauty.

A beautiful clean home on the lake for a good price. The communication from the owner was outstanding. The owners also offered many recommendations at our request which was very helpful on our trip. The staff taking care of the house were equally helpful.
