Perfect for two!

We truly enjoyed our week at the Outrigger. The location and view can't be beat, and the other families there were very friendly. Heidi, the property manager, was on sight a lot and extremely helpful. The unit had plenty of towels, and just about everything we needed for our stay. We hope to return!

Loved this place!!

We loved this condo it was extremely clean and decorated beautifully everything was as promised in the listing and it was even nicer and more spacious in person than we expected! Pool was very clean beach chairs were provided as well as beach towels and bath towels we would definitely stay at this condo again and recommend it to anyone! Balcony was spacious, and nice it was very calm and peaceful! Loved it!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The vacation overall was mediocre. The location is good, the beach is beautiful but I would probably not stay here again. That said my statement is based upon our own experience and comparing other places we’ve been to. We prefer to cook in rather than eating out so the kitchens are important. When you advertise the condo is completely ready and has all the amenities needed- you need to be true to your word. This property is not. Old pans, nothing to put food in when you have leftovers (Tupperware) not a bit of foil or baggies. There was only one dish towel. Goodwill has a great selection of kitchen supplies!! So it’s not about the money.The outdoor furniture is rusted and falling apart and not as shown in the pictures, so that is misleading. The mattress is completely horrible. When you provide televisions in more than one room they need to have the same channels. If you want to go from an “ok” resort to someone having a 5 star experience it’s really not that hard with a few changes.

Low water pressure in shower, small, wifi weak, bedroom tv had only 1 channel, needs updating but it was okay. Pool didn't seem clean. Online reviews were somewhat misleading.

We always love it.

It Was perfect, perfectly imperfect painting going on the whole time, wasn't that big of a deal guys we all nice and respectful. First two days of rough high tide which trashed the beach with seaweed but they came and cleaned it all up on the third day, unfortunately stopped right before Outrigger beach and started cleaning again after the next property. Pool wasn't very clean the day we went to it. But the overall experience was still great as usual.

Perfect spot

Great place, perfect location, lots of room, screened in porch was awesome. Right on the beach! The pool was shaded in the afternoon so it was perfect for when we needed a break from the sun. Loved it! Will definitely stay again.

Walk the beach, lay out on nice private chairs in the morning and swim in quiet heated pool in the afternoon. Go out for dinner and repeat. Totally relaxing. The only thing that was not perfect was the wifi and only one kitchen trash bag. An extra trash bag and roll of tp isn’t too much to ask.

Outrigger Unit 6 review

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at the Outrigger Unit 6 from 11/6/21-11/13/21. Due to the arrival time of our flight we had to do a late check in and picked up the keys at the RVA Late arrival box. Upon entering the unit it smelled musty and stale. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and dirty towels hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The floors were dirty and we felt like we needed to disinfect and Lysol the entire unit. The doors on the closets were rusty on the hinges and tracks and were difficult to open. We notified the RVA staff member named Corby and she agreed that it was gross and said she would send house keeping out. I explained to her that we had already ran the dishwasher and disinfected the unit. We received a call apologizing and that housekeeping would be sent out but we had taking care of cleaning the unit. The couch was completely broken down and filthy. We used our beach towels to sit on it. At no point during the week when we tried to stop in the on site office was anyone available. The exterior, pool and beach were nice. We did notice that there was a unit having new cabinets installed and hope that in the future Unit 6 is updated. We would be willing to stay at this property in the future if there were other cleaner, newly updated units available for us to choose from. It was nice to have laundry machines available on site however there were no coin machines available and it was difficult to find the necessary change needed.

We had to live with a Norway rat for a week that was not caught with the traps pest control used but we are grateful that the RVA was very responsive and gave us a partial refund, although we would have been happier if they had moved us to another unit. We would definitely consider renting from them in the future if the rat problem gets taken care of. M

Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at the Outrigger 3 times, the #6 was ok, the air went out after a couple days of being there, they did take care of it as quickly as they could, but service techs needed to be in there at least 4-5 times. the facility smelled a little musty and there were ants in the kitchen and bathroom
