Renovated Bathroom and New Windows Feb 2025!! Updated Pictures coming soon!! Welcome to Hydrangea Haven. A cozy cottage tucked away on a quiet peaceful road, but close to all the fun. Nestled 3 miles north of sister bay, between Sister Bay and Ellison Bay. Bike down the low traffic beach road to all that downtown Sister Bay has to offer. Cozy up with the indoor fireplace, Adirondack chairs around the outdoor fire pit, or rocking chairs on the porch.

Outdoor: Outdoor fire pit, charcoal grill. Rocking chairs on the front porch. Easy access to downtown Sister Bay and Ellison Bay. We do have neighbors that you can see between the trees behind our house and across the street.

Please note: this is on a quiet private drive and we request that guests are respectful of the neighbors, no parties, no fireworks.

Hydrangea Haven

We had a great stay at Hydrangea Haven! It was close to everything but seemed like we were in a secluded cabin, very relaxing and quiet place to enjoy the outdoors. We would definitely stay there again!

Relaxing stay at Hydrangea Haven

We enjoyed our visit to Door County. The home had everything we needed and was easily accessible to the rest of Door County. The kitchen was well stocked and we ate in a couple of evenings. Trixie’s in Ephriam was a great spot to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We’re looking forward to staying here again.

Tasteful and comfortable

A beautiful and comfortable home! The beds were fabulous and the kitchen had everything we needed. We purchased some firewood and enjoyed the ample fire pit one evening. We enjoyed the sprawling property and the peacefulness of the area.

Great Getaway!

This older home is situated outside of town in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The property was well maintained and the house was perfect for my wife and I and would have been able to accommodate more. The firepit was nice. Our favorite part was just sitting on the porch in the morning basking in the peace and quiet. The only small downside is the beds are not the best if you have trouble sleeping. My wife slept fine both nights, but it was hard for me. Other than that, this place was great! We’ll be staying here again!

Outstanding!

My son planned this trip for me and my oldest friend who, sadly, had to leave for an emergency business trip🙄 so I stayed for 4 of the 6 nights by myself. This home and property and location are SO fantastic that I didn’t mind having the place to myself at all. First: Location. Close to downtown Sister Bay, but just away from the traffic and congestion. The road leading to the home is wooded and serene. The home itself sits on a lovely piece of property where you can hardly see the very, very few neighbors. The wrap around porch is charming and makes for a great place to sit with your morning coffee. The firepit surrounded by comfy Adirondack chairs makes for a great gathering place with some nice wine and good friends. Second: The Home is absolutely beautiful. Full of gorgeous furnishings so thoughtfully planned out by the owner. The living room has the most comfortable (and gorgeous) sofa and 2 big, cozy chairs. The smart tv above the (working!) wood burning fireplace is nice and big for a rainy night in. “MY” bedroom had windows on 3 sides and The Views!!! The beautiful mahogany 4 poster bed has the most comfortable mattress, but my friend claims that her room had the best bed. She had windows on 2 sides and loved her views, as well. The kitchen is smartly furnished with a wrap around bench that is great for kids and 2 regular chairs for adults. The bathroom is large enough with great shelves for storage and the water pressure was great! There is a washer/dryer!

Very beautiful and cozy place. I enjoyed all of the amenities and simple things within the location even when it just came down to cooking. Simply perfect. I will absolutely book to stay here again.

Clean, good location, bouncy master bed

Very very clean property. Soft bed linens and down pillows. Decorated tastefully. Enjoyed the fire pit and Adirondack chairs. Master bed was uncomfortable, very bouncy and noisy for light sleepers. We probably wouldn’t book this location again because of that. Needs more wood slats for reinforcement.
