The space
Mystic Woodlands Lodge is set up for family trips and smaller group getaways. The 4-bedroom layout sleeps up to 8 and gives everyone room to gather, relax, and spread out. The open main floor combines the living room, kitchen, dining area, and pool table, making it easy for the group to stay connected.
The kitchen is fully stocked and equipped, with room to cook and serve meals comfortably. The dining and living spaces are arranged for conversation, shared meals, and downtime. Outside, two balconies offer quiet outdoor space, fresh mountain air, and secluded forest views.
For casual family fun, the game and movie room includes a Smart TV, movies, foosball, air hockey, board games, and streaming access. The pool table and foosball table are well-loved and best suited for relaxed family play rather than tournament-style play.
Layout:
□ Main floor: 1 king ensuite bedroom and 1 queen bedroom with bathroom next door
□ Top floor: 2 queen bedrooms and 1 full bathroom
□ This listing is the 4-bedroom configuration of the same home as Mystic Forest Lodge
□ The Bear Room—an extra-large kids’ room with 5 beds—is locked by cipher lock and is not included in this listing
□ Guests do not have access to the private owner suite, pantry, or garage/storage areas
Guest access
Mystic Woodlands Lodge is in the Waterfall development just off Cox Canyon Highway (Hwy 130). Lakeview Drive, a well-maintained dirt road, leads into the neighborhood, and Camino del Luna continues up to the lodge.
GPS NOTE
Some navigation apps shorten the road name to “Camino del Lun” or stop early. Please follow our arrival guide and continue to the end of Camino del Luna.
Guests enter through the front door using a keypad. Your entry code will be provided before arrival.
Parking is available in both the front and rear. AWD/4WD is recommended for rear parking, especially in winter or adverse weather. From the rear parking area, there is a step-free route to the main living level.
Distances:
□ About 7 miles / 12 minutes to Cloudcroft
□ About 10 miles to Ski Cloudcroft
□ Easy access to dining, coffee, shops, hiking, scenic drives, and mountain activities
Other things to note:
Mystic Forest Lodge sits at over 8,000 feet, so summer temperatures are typically cool and dry and the home does not have air conditioning. Ceiling fans throughout the house help keep the space comfortable. In colder months, central heat, electric fireplaces, and bedroom space heaters provide flexible comfort.
During snow, ice, or other adverse winter weather, AWD/4WD and sometimes chains or snow socks may be needed to travel Camino del Luna from Lakeview Drive. Rear parking can be more weather-sensitive than the front approach.
