Welcome to the Beaver Den! This is a beautiful Colorado Mountain Home, located at the base of St. Mary's Glacier. Surrounded by mountain views and National Forest, this vacation home is the perfect place for your family reunion, group vacation, or mountain escape!

The Beaver Den has everything you will need, with a fully stocked kitchen, and tons of amenities. You will have an amazing vacation regardless of the season. Here in the winter? We have sleds, snowshoes and a cozy indoor fireplace to relax at. Here during the warmer season? Play Corn-hole, BBQ and enjoy the stars next to the outdoor fire-pit on the expansive back deck. Whatever you do, don't forget to relax in the oversized private hot tub and enjoy your vacation.

The Beaver Den is within a mile of multiple lakes, hiking, (winter snowshoeing or backcountry skiing) and off-roading trails (or snowmobiling in winter). Within an hour drive, legendary skiing at Breckenridge, Winter Park, or Copper Mountain ski areas awaits.

Idaho Springs is only a few minutes away, with shopping, breweries, white water rafting and great restaurants. Denver International Airport is only 1 hour 15 minutes away!

Snowed in or feel like a day inside? There is a large cards table equipped with cards and poker chips. Have a Foosball tournament, play pool, shuffleboard or a movie marathon.

By booking our home you agree to the following terms.
Pets are allowed by approval only. They must be listed in your guest count under the Pets option. Any unapproved pets will come with a $500 fine per pet per night.

This is a non smoking property, you must leave the property to smoke or vape. Smoking on the premises will result in a $1,000 fine.

You may not exceed the occupancy count unless approved. Exceeding the approved occupancy count will result in immediate eviction.

Colorado residential noise ordinance (CRS 25-12-103) is in effect at the property. Noise violations will incur you a $1000 fine per violation.

Vehicle Advisory: For trips from November-April, 4WD or AWD with winter tires is required. We recommend using Turo for rentals to ensure your vehicle is 4WD or AWD with winter tires. There are cameras on the outside of the property for your saftey and for liability protection. There are noise monitors as well which only detect decible levels for noise ordinance laws, they do not record sound.
