Located only a short 7 min. walk, 2 min. drive, from the beautiful Playa Zoni, exposed to warm (yet cooling) Eastern Trade Winds, with magnificent views of Culebrita and the Virgin Islands. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. 6 people max. Brand new 33'x15' pool.
The space
What makes Casa Marbella so perfect? First off, the location is perfect. Located only a short 7 minute walk (or 2 minute drive, with plentiful parking!) from the beautiful Playa Zoni, Casa Marbella is a stone’s (or shell’s) throw away.
Second, because the Casa is situated on one of the higher bluffs of the island, it is exposed to the warm and gentle Eastern Trade Winds which provide some important benefits. Most importantly, Casa Marbella is virtually mosquito free! Biting insects such as mosquitos and No-See-Ums can be quite a nuisance in and around houses with lower wind exposure. Thankfully, the Trade Winds keep these flying nuisances out, all while providing a cooling balsam after a sunny day at the beach. Also, the near-constant breeze makes even the hottest island days pleasurable. And at night, for your convenience, we have recently installed state of the art AC units in every bedroom. While everybody else is sweating, you can be on Casa Marbella’s ocean-view main deck, where you can sip on a cool beverage while enjoying stunning views of St. Thomas, BVI, Culebrita, and Cayo Norte, along with the ships passing through the channel. And let’s not forget the breath-taking twilight scenes and sunrises! In fact, the deck is so nice that, according to rumor, while Casa Marbella is vacant, we have our neighbors come up in the evening for the view and the breeze, watching cruisers passing by, the moon rise, and the hypnotic light of the Culebrita lighthouse. Finally, the property consists of three separate buildings connected with wooden walkways and decks. There is a Master bedroom located on the easternmost part of the property, just next to it there is a living room with kitchen, and to the west of it there is another building where two guest bedrooms and a full bath are located. This arrangement allows for a great deal of privacy for all guests. You will find a spot where you will be able to relax in privacy. We hope that you can experience this unforgettable experience for yourself.
Guest access
In order to have the freedom to experience our beautiful island in its entirety, we recommend that you rent a car (or a golf cart, which is a very popular mode of transportation on the island and provides for a very unique experience). There are two large car rental companies: Carlos Jeeps and Jerry's Car Rental. Once you get to the house you may explore the area on foot. Walking to Playa Zoni requires a bit of effort since road is a bit steep. Traffic on the road is virtually non-existent. You may choose to take a two minute drive instead. There is usually plenty of parking there. There is plenty of parking by the house. Please be careful not to run over the rock border of the driveway.
When you take a walk to Zoni, just before the parking lot, to the left there is a gravel road that goes along the beach through the jungle all the way to the western end. Try that once.

All three bedrooms have individual, brand new air conditioning systems installed.

This part of Culebra is much more remote, quiet, and peaceful than other parts. Youy wil also have Zoni beach in a walking distance. Unlike Flamenco, Zoni beach is very quiet. If you like lots of music and kids playing frisbee over your head, you may choose Flamenco. If you want to be by yourself, choose Zoni.
