Winter Season notes:
*The grill and picnic tables are stored in the shed for late fall and winter months.
*The bottom section of the stairs near the water are removed for the winter months to prevent ice damage- typically November 30th thru May 15th. This may vary by a few days depending on occupancy.

For Winter only: the snow removal service may show up unannounced and as needed to plow the driveway and shovel the porch.

Located centrally between Hancock and Calumet, on Hwy M203 approximately a mile from McLain State Park. It's within Biking distance of the park and it's amenities, as well as Bear Lake and Maasto Hiihto Nature and Ski Trails.

During the snow season, all wheel drive or snow tires are recommended, as the driveway is fairly steep.

Liability waiver
By participating in swimming, boating, kayaking, and using the hot tub, you understand and accept the associated risks. You assume full responsibility for any injuries and release the property owner from liability. This includes risks to unsupervised children, individuals with health concerns, intoxicated persons, and pregnant individuals. You agree to hold yourself accountable for accidents and waive any claims against the owner. By booking this rental binds this agreement between all Airbnb guests and the host.
1) Important: The hot tub cover must stay closed and secured with the strap when not in use. Please rinse off all sand before entering the hot tub. (Sand will damage the pump). Do not attempt to drain the hot tub. If it needs attention please notify us so that we can have it professionally serviced.
2) Pets must be disclosed to us during the booking process. (We typically need to plan to have more than 1 cleaner in order to remove allergens and keep it spotless). No pets on the furniture or beds. Pets must never be left unattended in or at the property. (unless kenneled and inside)
3) No smoking or vaping.
4) No Parties or events, or outdoor music.
5) Maximum occupancy is 8 people (including visitors). Maximum amount of vehicles at any time is 4.
6) Absolutely no cannabis allowed anywhere on the property.

6) Campers/RV's are not permitted.
