Beautiful vacation spot!!

Our stay was wonderful. Very accommodating and very spacious. The beach was so close as was the pool and hot tub. The condo was very clean and the rooms were very comfortable. I will be booking next year.

Perfect location

We were very happy with the condo and location. Traveled with 4 kids and they were kept busy with the large pool and walkability to Coligny Plaza. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect!

My husband, 3 of my children, ages 16, 13, 12, and myself, booked for 1 week during our Spring break. We were extremely satisfied with everything. The condo was spacious, clean, and located in a great area. The pool, beach, and numerous bars/ restaurant were easily w/in walking distance. The property manager was present often and always helpful. Late check-in and the check-out was very easy and smooth. We all would highly recommend this property and plan on returning next year.

Great location & plenty of space!

The location of the condo is fantastic! Very close to Coligny. The pool was great and the hot tub was a nice bonus especially for night swimming since the pool was open until about 10pm! We had plenty of space in the living areas to spread out and the balcony was nice too. You could see just a peak of the ocean. Perfect for our family.

The particular unit we rented at Shorewood was spacious and well equipped and in a great location on the beach. The view from the porch of the unit was buildings/parking lot not ocean. It would be nice to have had a lock box for the key, it was challenging to keep track of keys.

Great location - suggestions to make the travel better

Very nice condo in a great location walking distance to Coligny. Some suggestions to the owner that I would have appreciated as a traveler: hangers -there were only 4 in the whole condo; laundry baskets -no where to put your dirty clothes; more garbage bags - only the one in the kitchen trash; more dishwasher tabs -only 2 for 6 nights; wifi login info was wrong and had to reach out to mngt co. Just little things that if they would have had these items I wouldn’t have left any comments.

Great Stay

The condo and location was great. On check in day I requested check in information and was never given it. We had to google the condo number and found out what rental agency owned it and had to contact them to get any info about how to access the condo. I still have yet to receive how to check in and that was over a week ago. It was an actual key as well, which was much more inconvenient than a number key pad. Overall, it was a great stay and I would stay again. I would just request more communication on the check in and check out process.

We are also working with all of our owners to convert to an electronic lock. We still need people to check in at our office for fobs and parking passes. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this same condo for 10 years and have found it to be generally very comfortable and in a great location. My only disappointment is in the quality of the kitchen cabinets which are dated. The drawers in particular do not work well and need replacing or repairing. The kitchen eating utensils leave something to be desired. They are not of good quality and there are not enough of them to entertains everal guests for dinner. The blender needs to be replaced as it lvery dated and leaks when I use it to make smoothies. It would also be nice to have a few more serving utensils and serving bowls. The rattan side chairs in the living room are not very comfortable.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is in a great location for going to the beach and walking/bicycling to restaurants. However, we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit. The floors were gritty and had to wear shoes to avoid getting socks or bare feet black with dirt. A few of the plates, silverware and a pot were put away, but still had food stains. After washing, they were clean. The paper towels and toilet paper were the cheapest our family have every encountered. We had to go out and buy our own as to not detract for the entirety of the stay.The A/C unit worked well, but was very noisy and next to the second bedroom. Our son found it difficult to sleep due to the level of noise coming out of the unit.The chairs and couch in the living room were not very comfortable.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay in HHI this time around! The location of our condo was perfect. It was just off the beaten path and away from public beach entrance, but not too far from restaurants, shopping, etc. If needed, we could have parked our car at the beginning of the week and never used it. The location was spot on.The property was clean and felt safe (locked gates). The rental company was easy to work with and very responsive. For example, it was missing the hair dryer as listed, but a quick email and they had one immediately available. The only thing I would caution you about is if oceanview/ocean front is important to you. It was to me and that's why this property came up in my searches. I love drinking my coffee on a deck while watching the ocean. That's not what you get with this condo. If you move to the corner of the balcony and stand on your tippy toes, you can see a glimpse of the ocean in the top corner. Other that that, you are staring at the side view of the building in front of you. That was really disappointing to me. If that is not important to you, this is the place for you because it is stunning otherwise.

The property was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the beach, pool and the walkability of the neighborhood. The unit itself was a nice size for our family and we appreciated the basic amenities that were provided. We would've appreciated a dustpan for the broom so that we could tidy up more during our week long stay. We also had an issue with the check-in process. We arrived after-hours and were provided with an old gate code and were not able to get in the gate. The phone number posted at the gate did not connect us through to anyone who could help us. Unfortunately, we had to wait until someone else showed up and let us in with their code. The next day the management office provided us with the new code. Also, none of my messages to the host on VRBO we're replied to. Despite the initial issues we enjoyed our stay and would stay at the property again.

Thank you for the nice review. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We apologize for the mix up at the gate. Also, anytime you need something like a dustpan all you have to do is call the desk where you checked in and someone will furnish those items to you. We hope to see you again soon.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The folks at Vacation Time have treated us very well over the years. This year was no exception. After a wonderful week, incredibly noisy construction began on our building. We were told it would be going on through March! Vacation Time hadn't been told anything about this from the regime or the owner. We had to move. They had no other villas to move us to. They gave us a refund. No hassle or hesitation. Over the years they have always done everything to make our months long stays to be Friction free. The rest of this review will be about our first week.
