This house was wonderful! It was remote, just what we were looking for!; but only 15 mins from Escalante. The host responded quickly any time we had communication with her. The house is about an hour outside of Bryce National Park. There were other parks to visit: Kodachrome Basin, Devil’s garden, Willis Creek slot canyon -a hiking paradise!

The host was very informative of hikes and trails for riding around the area and very quick to respond. Loved this house, especially all the windows and its secluded!

Laura was responsive to all communications. She responded almost immediately to any question about the property. The house was exactly as pictured and described. There were no surprises. The house was clean and well stocked. If you want to get away from town and enjoy the solitude of Utah, this is the place. We will return.

Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The view was breathtaking. Peaceful, quiet and cozy. At the end of the day it was a perfect place to sit and share stories of our day. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home and property. Feels remote. Home and property were clean. Home was modern and nicely decorated. Smaller bedroom got warm at night due to no ventilation . Didn’t realize bed in that room was full size bed (aka double). We had to remove all trash from the property and dispose of it.

Excellent location for exploring Grand Staircase, Bryce Canyon and the Boulder mountains.

The property is located between Tropic and Escalante with zero neighbors. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to prepare all of our meals. Great place.

These Iowans had a great spring break!

Stayed for a couple days en route from Moab to Zion. Great location and great property. Fast wifi was a nice bonus. Would definitely stay here again if we find our in this part of the US.

Beautiful place

We had a great time staying at this unique home in Escalante. Even though it was cold outside we stayed nice and warm. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. The hiking was amazing, the area is beautiful and would definitely stay again.

Peaceful Vacation

Loved the location of this home - it's several miles west of Escalante, in a very private and peaceful location. The home was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good stay. Beautiful location and home. Needs better cooling and ventilation especially when temperature is above 80 degrees. Doors and blinds need maintenance. We'll supplied kitchen and furnishings. Close to parks.amd the town of Escalante for food.

What a cute little bungalow! If you read nothing further than this, don’t forget to look at the stars at night and enjoy the quiet! Laura was an excellent host, very attentive, despite being on vacation herself, and gave us excellent directions to the house (there’s no cell service so we followed her directions, not the GPS). The house was homey and perfectly suited for our needs. There’s tons of nice cookware, space, great recommendations in the guestbook, the views are phenomenal, and Escalante is about a 15 minute drive where you can refuel, grab coffee and food, groceries etc. We would stay there again!

This was a beautiful home in a beautiful location. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the home and all the decorations in the home - it was fun to look at all of them! This was a real diamond in the desert! We would definitely return.

Peaceful and inspiring vistas

This is a wonderful place to stay! The views from the house are stellar, it's easy driving to many hikes in the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, and just a 10 minute drive into the town of Escalante. While it's close to Route 12, you can't hear any traffic from inside the house and there aren't any nearby neighbors. Laura was responsive to texts to help me get settled when I first arrived, and instructions throughout the house were very clear about how things work. Altogether a lovely visit.

Cute and cozy

Very well taken care of, comfortable house, played fun games, made lasting memories, enjoyed our stay. A little further away from Escalante than we've stayed in the past but it was secluded and was also kinda nice to have our privacy.

Away from it all

The house is on a large, beautiful property, which you can see from many huge windows. It is very comfortable, with seating areas, dining table, big tv, nice kitchen and washer/dryer. The master bedroom is heavenly with more windows, king size bed and private bathroom. We went hiking everyday.

Very secluded stunning home at 7000 feet. 45 minutes to Bryce and 30 minutes to Kodacrome Basin State Park.
