** Ab November 2017 verfügt das Kauai Tree House über einen neuen Esstisch, ein Hauptschlafzimmer, ein Wohnzimmer und neu gestrichene Zimmer.

Dieses 3-Schlafzimmer-Haus ist komplett eingerichtet und umfasst Bettwäsche, Spiele, Videos und Musik sowie eine I-Pod-freundliche Stereoanlage. Die am Fluss gelegene Unterkunft bietet Privatsphäre und Sie können zu einem privaten Strandabschnitt hinabschwimmen. Unser Standort befindet sich in der Mitte eines der schönsten Exemplare des alten Hawaii, das heute übrig ist.

Jedes Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, eine hochwertige Matratze und neue Bettlaken und Kissen. In allen Zimmern gibt es schöne Schlafzimmermöbel und Ventilatoren, einschließlich der Haupt-Lanai, die abgeschirmt ist. Das Schlafzimmer ist sehr attraktiv und hat einen neuen Flachbildfernseher. Das Haus liegt hoch über dem klaren Wasser und beherbergt Enten, Fische und viele andere vom Aussterben bedrohte Arten in einer unberührten Umgebung.

Great place. Only issue was the nearly constant barking at all hours of a pack of dogs across the stream behind the house. Had to close the windows at night, which was unfortunate. Even a dog lover would find the constant howling grating while on vacation. Still, we loved the location, and the helpful guide books. The roosters were loud, too.

The treehouse was a great place to stay; our favorite space was the screened in lanai. We were aware of the barking dogs & roosters crowing at all hours of the day, but the road noise was a bit unexpected & since the entrance to the property was right at the double one way bridges, it was challenging to enter/exit to the property without a 2 point turn or driving slightly further down the road to turn around for the entrance. We also had a few little friends (lizards) who kept us company throughout the week—my kids loved it. There were ants in attendance, but we kept our food in the microwave, fridge or in containers & there were no problems. The washer & dryer are large and easily accommodated the big, fluffy beach towels provided. We were close to Hanalei & utilized the nearby market & coffee shop often.

Charming house in Waniha

This house is beautiful and relaxing and is in the middle of luxurious nature,. It is close to Tunnel beach and Haena state park. The only negative point is the noise from one of the very closeby bridges when the cars are passing by and from the roosters during the night. However, if you have good ear plugs it should allow you to sleep well. The beds are very comfortable and each room has its balcony.. We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area!

tropical oasis family vacation

We loved our stay at the Treehouse. It was roomy, clean and comfortable for everyone in our family. The location is nice and secluded from the main road and about 10 minutes from Hanalei town which was convenient. The beaches nearby were breathtakingly beautiful. Note that the stairs are very steep so older family may have a harder time getting up to the house. The neighbor next door complained about us walking on his property though we were not aware that what we thought was a road was actually his driveway so make sure not to make this mistake because he's not very nice about it. Other than that it was a great stay.

Treehouse in Paradise

The house was great for our family of five plus one. You can feel a little sway in the house but I expected that with it sitting on such long stilts. The screen doors in the master bedroom need to replaced as they wouldn't stay on track when opened or closed. All in all, I would definitely stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Truely a unique location- a tree house a few miles outside of Hanalei. Great beaches nearby, as well as all the shops and restaurants in Hanalei. The Tree House lived up to its name, we felt like we were sleeping in a tropical jungle with a babbling stream nearby and a canopy of tropical trees and plants. While the accommodations were amazing, the support from RE/MAX Kauai was tremendous. Like everyone else in Hawaii, we were directed to evacuate during a tsunami warning. Our property manager reached out immediately upon the evacuation notice and found temporary shelter for the night so we didn’t have to sleep in our car! With all the roads closed, evacuation orders in effect for so many areas, we greatly appreciated the support from RE/MAX Kauai and would use them for all future trips.

It had good access to beautiful hikes and beaches, and wasn't set right in the middle of tourists. The washer was not working for the duration of our stay which was something we were counting in when we packed, and the home lost power one night and into the morning, but overall the house was really nice and these are issues that I believe were only specific to our stay and the rental as a whole. I would recommend the Tree House for families wishing to experience Kauai with a unique home base. It was well cared for, and had plenty of room.

It was nice to have the beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards to use. The kitchen had spices and oils to help with cooking which was super nice. The only thing that was hard is it is a little noisy. Dogs barking at night and chickens waking you up super early! Other than that it was great!

Comfortable, beautiful, surrounded by nature.

Everyone in our family loved staying at the Tree House. The house was clean, the furnishings comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. The common areas were set up in ways that everyone can be comfortable. We loved the fresh air through the open windows and appreciated the fans on warmer afternoons. This house is surrounded by all different kinds of trees. The wild life includes geckos and different birds, including roosters (who crow on their own schedules). The setting is so relaxing, though, the roosters didn't bother most of us. On clear nights, many stars are visible from the front lanai. That was a treat. We absolutely loved staying here, and would definitely go back. Mahalo nui!

Wonderful Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My 6 and 8 year old kids loved the house and grounds. The windows and patio allowed us to be up with the trees, as the house was on tree level! Furnishings nice and clean. Tasteful decor. Enjoyed the boogie boards. It was great to stay here- I'd come again!

North Shore Retreat

We stayed 4 nights at the tree house. The place fit our party of 7 comfortably and was a great retreat after days at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and there were 2 fridges. Some things to consider. There is a lot of outside noise at night (Cars over bridge & roosters), so make sure to bring ear plugs. Also, there is no cell phone coverage. The wifi worked great though! The stairs are steep so it does takes some muscle to carry suitcases up.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very spacious. Comfy beds and pillows. Short drive to Tunnels Beach, Hanalei and the park. I had assumed there were kayaks to float down the river...you have to get your own. That was a disappointment. The dogs weren’t a problem...we think they were hunting dogs. Only frenzied barking after dark for an hour. Bull frogs in the river were super loud...maybe a seasonal thing?The Staff was super helpful when the passcode didn’t work one night.We had a great stay and enjoyed the lanais around the house.
