Hillside wurde 2012 fertiggestellt und befindet sich in den exklusiven Turtle Beach Estates auf der Südost-Halbinsel von St. Kitts.

Hillside ist ein Luxus wie zu Hause und bietet alle Vorteile eines luxuriösen Villenlebens. Das Hillside verfügt über einen atemberaubenden, 60 m langen Infinity-Pool. Ein riesiges, 30 Meter langes, vollständig ausklappbares Nana-Fenster bringt den Panoramablick in die 60 Meter hohen Decken der Kathedrale im Hauptwohnbereich. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this villa in St. Kitts. We had a group of 10 people all 17 years old. We agreed with the owner/property manager to rent the apartment, which resulted in 6 comfortable bedrooms. The house is absolutely beautiful, spacious, has a gorgeous view and was a comfortable space for everyone to unwind. They have done a wonderful job maintaining the home and property to a very high standard. We enjoyed the location, on the south end of the island (close to the Park Hyatt). One of the benefits was the abundance of activities — jet skis / water sports at Reggae Beach (short drive / steep hill), a pier where we were met for a fishing charter, and make sure to reserve Friday night lobster dinner at Reggae Beach Bar. We were also impressed that the house is outfitted with both US and UK power outlets. The property manager Dwayne met us at the airport and was a wonderful host. We had a few minor questions / issues and he was very responsive. For sports fans, the house has cable with ESPN (was great for college bowl games) and the internet/wifi worked well. We also had a flight issue and worked with Dwayne and the owner, who were very helpful collaborating with us to extend our stay. St. Kitts was much more advanced than many Caribbean islands we visited. The roads / infrastructure were in great shape, people are friendly and hard working, etc — everything just worked. I can’t recommend a vacation to St. Kitts to Hillside Villa enough!

Sight, sound & scent of the sea 24/7!

No AC needed during our 12 days late December into January with screened windows and doors open. Plenty of linens; a well-equipped kitchen for the meals we preferred to prepare ourselves. The people of St. Kitts and Nevis are pleasant and friendly. Two in our party swam the two miles from Nevis to St. Kitts and climbed the highest peak on each. Great New Year’s Eve fireworks viewed from the pool and upstairs porch.

House needs some loving

Absolute hands-down best parts of the hillside villa were the view and the pool. We spent more time at the dining table with the huge window open, on the deck and in the pool than anywhere else. We loved that part of it. Expectations are important so don’t expect a luxury house. It looks like it needs a lot of TLC. The outside paint has rust in areas. The only filtered water in the entire house was from the kitchen faucet with a brita filter at the end. The ice maker and the water dispenser in the refrigerator door were both broken. The high-end stereo equipment was not usable because a component had broken. The treadmill, located on a bedroom balcony broke a couple of days before we got there. A bedroom toilet had been leaking for so long that it was dripping onto the washing machine on 1st floor and a large piece of paint was peeling from the ceiling. The tiles surrounding the pool are coming off- in one place you could see the webbing. Where the tiles were not peeling, there was either rusted areas or bleached tiles.the most dangerous issue were the pool ladders. I do not understand how anyone could not know these were a hazard. One person was on the ladder when it came out of the deck and broke in half. He could have been very badly hurt. Brenda, manager extraordinaire, had a new one installed the next day. Pool is not fenced in on all 4 sides. nor is there a pool alarm or any safety measure for kids. But my group would still go back- the view is priceless.

Amazing Views

We've stayed in a lot of places in the carribean and the views from the Hillside Villa are some of the best we've seen. We enjoyed our stay. The driveway is a little intimidating at first like others mentioned, but after a couple times it's fine. Brenda the property manager was very accommodating and even helped us schedule a few activities. It's not walkable but there are beaches and a few restaurants close by. A bit of a drive to the grocery store but the views make it all worth it!

Gorgeous view that I could look at for days

The view from this property is incredible. The doors that allow the full experience from the main living area are perfect. Brenda was amazing and responsive. The driveway was nerve wracking the first couple of times, but then we got used to it. Not much is walkable from here, but that’s a trade off for the setting. Would highly recommend this house!

Breathtaking Views but needs some TLC.....

We rented the main house and the Villa for our group of 12 adults. As advertised, the main house is Stunning! The kitchen is well equipped, BUT the sink is tiny and a challenge if you’re cooking for your group. The appliances could use some upgrades (main level 12 cup coffee maker overflowed if you made more than 10 cups, and the apartment (smaller) coffee maker had quite a bit of rust). In general, the house is showing its age, and can use some updating. The showers throughout had worn tiles, and older (clogged) shower heads. The wicker outdoor table under the covered porch is unravelling, the fridges didn’t have working water or ice makers (Brenda did have the water to the main level fridge fixed within a day of reporting it not working). The lighting in the main house was decorative, but not very bright, and it was difficult to see if you ate later, and impossible to play games in the main living room after dark. The apartment was Not up to par with the upper level (surprising since the $ per bedroom was identical). One bedroom had a musty smell that stayed throughout our trip, and unfortunately the AC in that room was older, and didn’t operate well for the 1st few days. The fridge was rusted and needs replacing. The shower heads throughout were calcified/clogged which didn’t help the low water pressure (Brenda replaced a few). Brenda was Outstanding and assisted us in a timely manner with all of our other smaller issues, and provided lots of help.

Views to die for

Wonderful house and Brenda the property manager did a fantastic job. The location of the house defiantly requires a 4x4 due to the steep drive, the house is well equipped. Locally Lion Head bar is great and lunch and dinner at the Hyatt. The Pavillion for lunch was amazing as was a couple of visits over to Nevis to Chrishi beach bar and restaurant. The two main beds are comfortable but the twins not so comfortable.

Everything we hoped for and more!

We had waited for years (thanks to COVID) to visit the Hillside Villa as a island family reunion, and it was totally worth the wait! Edward and Brenda were very quick to respond to any questions or changes we had leading up to our arrival. Once on island, Brenda was such a warm and welcoming host, giving us everything we needed to know about the home and island. Throughout our stay she answered quickly and was so helpful in all aspects, even during a threatening hurricane! The house had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back!

Home is built to maximize the views of the surrounding ocean and the island of Nevis. The property also had hummingbirds and Monkeys and we never tired of just observing the surroundings! Fantastic Villa and Vacation

We have returned from our amazing trip and wish we could be back at the Hillside Villa! The views from the house are absolutely incredible and we never got tired of looking outside. This house is well situated for ultimate indoor/outdoor living. We would open all the doors and let the Caribbean breezes keep us comfortable while enjoying all the amenities of the house. We rented the apartment due to the size of our group and it was well worth the extra cost. The driveway is seriously steep which makes it pretty exciting every time you leave the house and arrive home again. You definitely need four wheel drive, and Bullseye will hook you up! The property manager, Brenda, was fantastic! We had some plumbing issues at the beginning of our stay and she got them resolved right away. She was full of information and patience :) I could go on and on about how much we loved this house and vacation. Through reading some of the reviews on this page, we also knew to make a reservation at Reggae Beach Bar for Lobster Fest on Fri night, which was excellent. We also booked Chef Seth Saheli for a private dinner at the villa which was also amazing! We really enjoyed a catamaran trip around St. Kitts and Nevis with Leeward Island Charters as well. It was an unforgettable trip and the villa was a huge part of that!!

Natural Beauty

Hillside house definitely had the best view in all the island. Brenda did a wonderful job checking us in and providing necessary info, as well as dining suggestions/reservations. We had an awful time with VRBO customer service and the owner making payments before arrival. I had to contact VRBO weekly to inquire about the issue and the owner was not helpful, leaving it up to me to continually make contact. I was not comfortable with the request to wire money to an account in St. Kitts instead of using VRBO. The house was beautiful, but had a number of areas that could use improvement. The chairs on the pool deck were flimsy and uncomfortable; many of the pool tiles were falling off and the water was awfully cold. The door handles were lose, and we struggled to keep them locked. We lost power one night, but the generator provided was not operational; we spent a lot of time trying to get it to work, but just went to sleep and the power came on in a few hours. We were told later that it was not working . As others have stated, one must have a vehicle with 4-Wheel Drive...because it was Christmas time, there were not enough vehicles available by the time the payment issues were resolved. We did have a great time on the island, with our favorite activity being. a day on a sailboat to Nevis with Captain Coconut and his wife. We loved dining at the casual restaurant...Reggae Beach Bar and Shipwreck. We had a great meal at Marshalls, but expect to have a long, leisurely dinner! Disappointingly, 10 days following our checkout we were accused of stealing 6 rubber coasters and charged $78 for a product that is $10 on Amazon. This was ridiculous and would be enough to not recommend this rental to others.

Great stay!

The property rental worked out great for our needs for this trip. We travelled to St Kitts for a work trip and needed accommodation for a large group (10 people) and this property worked great. It was a beautiful house with an amazing view! All interactions with the property owner were great. The property manager, Brenda, was so fantastic and helpful with all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this property and hope we can visit again!

Amazing View

Just finished staying at this property and definitely do not regret it. Has an amazing view that makes for an unforgettable experience. Property manager was so helpful in making sure our stay went smoothly. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wanted to spend a getaway with their family and friends

Perfect view and location for relaxation

Stayed at the villa with 7 friends for a 40th birthday celebration. The property had everything we needed and then some. Enough space, A great location for views, and peace and quiet. The staff at the villa was beyond accommodating from trip planning to daily needs/ activities. We were well taken care of and Everyone agreed we would return for another visit! I can’t think of anything I would change. Great place and people! Thank you Brenda, Scotty, and Ed!

Wedding Trip

Brenda was phenomenal and made not only our arrival and stay great, but also our pre-arrival planning a breeze. She met us at the airport and had everything arranged to get 13 travelers to the property stress-free. She had our kitchen well-stocked, organized an island tour and poolside massages. House and views were amazing! It easily accommodated all of us comfortably. Hoping to visit again soon and will definitely stay here.

Amazing views! The great room and pool deck area are even better than the pictures. Awesome.

The hide is really wonderful for a large family and the local team was incredibly supportive with suggestions for the island and any house issues.
