Our exquisite home is situated in the peaceful Shenandoah valley and offers ample space for all with 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, a generously sized open kitchen, 3 large screen TVs, and a delightful gaming lounge area. Escape to this perfect getaway destination, just under 2 hours from the DC area and 2 1/2 hours from the Richmond Area

Entranceway:
Upon entering the home you are encouraged to remove your shoes during your stay and the massive shoe and coat closet on your right will keep everyone's shoes tidy and out of the way. You’ll find the entranceway table full of fun information to help guide you during your stay.

Bedrooms:
This home has 5 bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 13 guests with the option of a roll-away bed for a 14th guest. The rooms are spread out throughout the home to maximize privacy and space. We have 3 bedrooms on the upper level and 2 bedrooms on the lower level. Snuggle into the down-alternative comforters and enjoy the soft and relaxing bedding colors that will appeal to both adults and children alike.

For your planning purposes here are the bed arrangements:

**Upper Level**
Master bedroom: Queen bed and private full bath
Bedroom 2: Identical set of twin beds
Bedroom 3: Queen bed

**Lower Level**
Bedroom 4: Twin bed with a twin trundle, bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top
Bedroom 5: Full bed


Bathrooms:
We love the convenience of our multiple bathrooms. The master has its own luxury, white tiled walk-in shower with dual sink vanity.
The other bathroom also has a beautiful walk-in shower and toilet area that can be closed off while someone else is using the sink and vanity area.
The gaming lounge on the lower level has its own full bathroom with a shower and tub combo and cute single blue vanity.

The lower level bedrooms (#4 & #5) share the 4th bathroom which has a full shower and tub combo and single blue vanity.


Kitchen and Living Area:
Our open concept living area on the upper level is perfect for family gatherings. Whether you're watching a movie or just hanging out, there is space for everyone to move around.

Being that we are in a mountainous community it does take some time to get to many of the wonderful restaurants nearby so we encourage you to cook together at home sometimes. We have many of the things that you would need to make that happen including an induction stovetop! This type of cooking makes it quick and easy. (See the house manual for directions on how to properly work this stove.) We also have a large selection of cookware to meet your cooking and baking needs. From the large stockpot to baking dishes and mixing bowls. A toaster, blender, microwave and even two gravy boats are available! Additionally, we try to have some basic cooking essentials - like spices and cooking oil - available to you, should you need them.

Coffee or tea anyone? We have a wonderful dual system coffee machine for your use. You can prepare up to 12 cups (round filters) of your favorite ground coffee in the drip coffee section or use K-Cup style pods to make singles cups of coffee, tea or cocoa.

We have a large farmhouse dining table with sturdy chairs and a long bench seat as well. The table can seat 10 comfortably. We also have a second dining area that has a nice modern wooden table and seats for 4 people.

Gaming Lounge/Lower Level:
When we travel with family and friends we love to have a space for big and small kids to hangout or for adults to play cards or dominos. We have a fun and spacious gaming lounge area with foosball, ping-pong, an awesome octagonal shaped poker/card table, comfy crescent-shaped velvet couch and a flat screen tv positioned perfectly for all to enjoy the big game or movie.

There is another separate living space with a super comfy couch and another TV as well as a small kitchenette with a mini fridge.

Outdoor Space:
The residence boasts a delightful deck and yard area that are spacious enough for your needs. As the afternoon sun descends, you can bask in the tranquil scenery and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature. Take pleasure in using the fireplace and outdoor grill/smoker to enhance your experience.

Additional:
All linens for bedding and towels are provided. We provide a starter pack for paper goods such as toilet paper and paper towels. The kitchen has dishes, cups, utensils, cookware, microwave, and coffee maker. Simply bring your clothes, toiletries and food. Washer and dryer are available for guest use.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire home with the exception of some storage closets.

The driveway can be used for parking vehicles. While a garage is available for storing your gear we request that guests not park cars in the garage.

Other things to note

**You are visiting a home located in the woods, in the mountains. Bugs are a normal part of life in wooded areas. While we DO have regular pest control treatments, occasionally stray ones may find their way into the comforts of The Bayse House.
