I spoke to the host prior to booking and they said I was allowed to have outside guests or I would not have booked here. However, when we arrived the front security guard since the host marked no guests allowed on the tablet and I would have to contact them to change it. In addition, we had no running hot water in the shower during our whole stay and had to shower in cold water. I tried to call and send numerous messages through the Vrbo app but I got no response until the trip was over when I arrived back home.

The unit was great, just as advertised! Spacious, clean, modern, with a great outdoor balcony space. Amazing outdoor pool area, was a huge hit with our 4 y/o! Easy to get into the complex, and conveniently located to the beach and main street! Will stay again...

The condo could use some repair and upkeep. We had higher expectations due to the money we paid for the unit.

Outdated, non-secure musky condo

Unit is very outdated for price, and did feel unsafe. Front door unlocks with any thumbprint (our entire family could open) and one of the patio sliders does not lock. The unit smelt super musky and the main AC unit was very old and blew out dirty smelling air. We saw mouse poop and dead flies on the floor. In addition, we had to wipe our feet with a washcloth after walking barefoot because the floor was not mopped. Spare bedroom shades don’t roll up (looks like someone got the cords stuck) and the master bed is super creaky. We were hopeful this would be a clean and comfortable stay for the price but we’re very disappointed. I’d suggest looking for another unit in these towers.

No Hot water and little help

Upon check in on Monday, told Host there was no hot water. Told a ticket created. Contacted host again Tuesday about it and told to wait. Contacted VRBO within 24hrs and they contacted Host and was told the same thing. Morning noon and night was told to wait. Wednesday, same thing. We asked to be moved to a place with hot water since they were a managing company with many condos but told no. We had to take cold showers for 3 days. Finally VRBO 3 wayed called Host with me and told them to fix immediately and reimburse us for 3 days due to no hot water. Host finally fixed but refused to reimburse or give any discount. Host told us there was a blockage in the line of the hot water tank and that since we stayed in the property we were not entitled to any compensation. This is a large managing company in Costa Rica and they had no care for the people who rented from them. Everyone kept passing the buck.

Todo el complejo de apartamentos a un nivel excelente. El apartamento bien amplio, limpio, full equipado hasta el más mínimo detalle. Nos sentimos como en casa. Fui con mi familia (tres adultos mayores e hijos adolescentes) y todos estuvimos muy cómodos. Lo repetiríamos mil veces!
