Love Paloma Blanca! This unit is especially cute with the new owner. This is our second time and definitely will return! We took our young kids this time and they loved it. The unit was great with the single beds for them. The pool and beach access is amazing. *I will say there is a large retired community in the complex. Everyone was so sweet to us except 1 fussed about our kids jumping in the pool. Hopefully he changes his attitude and doesn’t scare away the families bringing income in to the other rentals. Other than that-5/5!!

Disappointing

Have been going to Paloma Blanca for over 15 years and was saddened to find the unit we stayed in in such terrible condition. Worse than condition of condo was the absence of an administration. Dishwasher didn't work so had to call VRBO in Oregon to report it. They never followed up on that. Wrote the app, and they sent someone two days later to fix. Guy needed a replacement part and said would be back and never returned. Place also was about as poorly stocked as any rental we have been in, making cooking very difficult. Place was in poor condition, we were happy to leave.

Not what expected

Had been here before and the overall experience has gotten worse. Parking is now an extra fee in a damp and muddy terrain across the street. Had no internet for a full workday. We could not use the pool one afternoon because of maintenance. Kitchen equipment could be better and the staff could have been a lot friendlier.

Amenities listed not accurate

The condo is in a nice building but Vacasa did not fix issue we had with no internet and no TV despite my emails, texts and phone call to property manager (number was not active that i had been given). This condo is built for tall people. The bottom cabinet is over 5 feet high so i couldnt reach the dishes and no step stool to be found. Microwave is too high up also. No vent on the dryer so room turned into a sauna when drying clothes. Toilet in master bathroom was broken so had to keep fixing the chain. The manager of condo complex said we probably wouldnt hear from Vacasa and she was right, so sounds like we were not the only ones that have had issues.

Great oceanfront vacation condo that feels like a resort!

This place is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable! The pools were amazing and always clean. We loved the view and balconies. We appreciated the full kitchen. It is a bit of a walk to town or to get groceries so either have a car or get groceries before you come. We recommend eating at Mahi Mahi, the smoothie stall down the street (on Av. Amapola), Margaritas Restaurant, and Koko Gastro Bar. The shower pressure was great and everything was well kept. We loved the beautiful paintings throughout the condo. And the beach was easy to access. The people in the community were very friendly and it was quiet and safe. The guards were friendly as well! The chairs outside could be more comfortable for enjoying the view. And the living room air conditioning didn't work when we arrived so it was replaced during our stay. We wish the TV was a smart TV. We couldn't really use it because we couldn't figure out how to get to the channel guide or switch to English. Overall we would recommend this vacation rental!

Perfect place to celebrate my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary

This was our second time staying at La Paloma Blanca. We stayed here a few years ago and loved the size and location of the property. I would consider this a small to medium size property and it had four pools and a ranchito (bbq hut) at no additional charge. There were 20 of us in total ranging from 5 yrs to 74 yrs old. We rented four condos and were able to get a poolside condo for the elders which was perfect for gathering and meals. We loved the location at the north end of town, away from the busier part of the beach. The communication with the property managers was excellent from email confirmations to check in, receiving the lockbox codes and wifi in advance. Each room had plenty of beach towels, soap, shampoo, and all the kitchen supplies including coffee filters and a starter pack of coffee. Most of our communication was with Vacasa who I assume is the Latin arm of VRBO. They even emailed me offering excursions. There is a surf camp right on the beach and a beautiful shaded space where you can enjoy the ocean view and out of the sun. The only drawback in my mind was the beach - it is very rocky and very limited walkable sand in bare feet - you really need water shoes if you want to walk the beach. But there is a nice laid back vibe with lots of people and their dogs and we always felt safe. There was also a last minute change to one of our reservations where the owners needed the property on the dates we had reserved but the staff quickly helped find another room. There was a secure parking lot right across the road and we had no problems at all. There was always security - friendly guards and several cute iguanas on site. I thought the price was extremely reasonable as well for everything that is included. Highly recommend.

Me encanto toda la atención recibida y el lugar. Desde el momento de realizar la reservación. Hasta la salida del lugar. El personal le brinda una atención personalizada. Nos atendió Tatty y Adriana la cual tuvimos el gusto de conocerla y nos brindó una atención y servicio excelente. Sin palabras y agradecimiento para ambas. El apartamento B3 es espectacular.
