Our 2 week stay was excellent! We were very pleased with our VRBO choice. Pleased to meet the accommodating owners. Location was great, quiet and private. Very close to shopping and Tamiami Trail. The heated pool was very relaxing. Having a garage for our SUV was also a plus. Highly recommend this home.

Best place ever!

We loved staying at this property, it has everything that you need and it is clean, comfortable, only minutes from siesta beach, you have your own private lanai with pool, backyard area to enjoy the sun and grilling. House is spacious and inviting, hosts are great at checking in to see that you are comfortable. We will definitely be back and add this place to our favorites!

Relaxing Vacation

Staying at this property was very relaxing and enjoyable. Beautiful decor, spacious, open, and very clean! The pool and yard are well maintained. Located in a great community and easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. After a day at the beach, it was fabulous to come home and relax on the lanai. The host is wonderful and I cannot wait to come back again.

Highly recommend this wonderful vacation home gem.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family of 3. Loved the light, bright, and airy open-concept interior as well as the screened-in pool and patio with plenty of seating and overhead fans to keep us cool, even in the Florida heat. Everything we could have needed was provided, making our stay super easy and comfortable. Super close to beaches and shopping and all Sarasota has to offer. Scott and Jill are fabulous hosts! Can't wait to book again!

Great location with everything our family needed!

We had zero complaints about any detail. Everything was precisely described in the listing and in person, the property was even nicer. It was immaculately clean. AC was cool, beds were comfortable and perfect for our small family. The location was wonderful and we got everwhere we needed to be quickly, including the beach which was like less than 10min away! We loved the neighboorhood we were in and would totally stay again.

Spring Fun in the Sun

The home was great as were the owner hosts Scott and Jill. Scott was very prompt with any communication we had. The location was perfect for an easy short distance to the Siesta Key Beach. The home was very well stocked with everything you need. The beds were very comfortable. The beach cart, chairs and cooler were a lifesaver for our daily trips to the beach. We loved the pool and the large patio lanai area. I enjoyed my coffee on the patio every morning. We would highly recommend this home for your vacation and would return again!! Perfect location in Sarasota

Scott and Jill are perfect hosts. Their home was so inviting upon arrival, it’s a private haven tucked into the Gulf Gate community, with access to all types of shopping, ethnic delis, and dining in every direction. The home is equipped with everything you need for your stay, and if you enjoy cooking, the open concept space, and updated kitchen are perfect for entertaining your family. Minutes away from Siesta Key Beach, one of the best in the county, and minutes from downtown with a vibrant arts and dining scene. This trip has secured Sarasota as my favorite place in FL! We hope to return someday!

This house has it all! Easy check in. Attentive hosts. Very clean and spacious. Very well stocked kitchen with many appliances. It has a large open concept. Beds were comfortable. Pool was very nice. The beach chairs, toys and cart were very useful. Minutes to siesta key and any store you need. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Great experience

It was a great location. About 15 minutes from Venice, Sarasota or Siesta Key. A little North is Bradenton and Anna Maria Island. The villa was updated and beautiful. In a quiet neighborhood great for quiet coffee on the patio and morning walks. It had a small heated plunge pool and a great room equipped with everything you may need. Scott was a wonderful host. We felt very much at home. We will definitely be back. Thanks Scott!

Everything was great except the floors were not cleaned and the shower floor wasn’t cleaned because I caught ringworm from it& I’m positive it was from there.Again I want to emphasize the house was other wise very nice & I’m sure it was just forgotten

While we understand your concern, ringworm is a common skin condition that can be contracted from a variety of places. Our home has been occupied for 271 nights by 15 different guests all with 5-star reviews, often citing cleanliness. GREAT HOUSE, GREAT LOCATION!

Loved this house! Great neighborhood, nice and quiet! Tastefully decorated with all the amenities of “home”! Great location in a nice subdivision, private landscaped backyard. Right off of Tamiami Trail, within 2 minutes to the road to Siesta Key beautiful beach. We also went to Turtle beach, much much shorter walk to the beach, same beautiful water! 15 minutes to downtown Sarasota. We especially loved the backyard, pool and lanai, gets sun from sun up till just about sundown! The house was very clean, with comfortable bed, we would rent this property again. Loved that there were beach supplies: cart, cooler, bag, umbrellas, cooler and beach chairs!

Sarasota holiday home

Lovely stay in this 2 bed home, with a very much needed plunge pool due to the unusual heat temperatures in Florida. Beds were very clean and comfortable. My only criticism was the light through the blinds in the morning. Beach chairs and unberellas, cool boxes for the beach were also provided which was fabulous.. The hosts had left a welcome basket, this was much appreciated. They also allowed us to spend a few more hours in the property as our flight back to the UK was early evening.. We definitely would like to return and stay here again. Thankyou Scott and Jill.

Just as amazing the 2nd time around!

We loved this home so much we came back again after staying for a week last year. The location was perfect for us as we were in town to vacation and visit the Siesta Key beach. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds and great AC. The owners of this property have gone above and beyond to make this a very home away from home experience. Everything we needed was there, plus extras like everything you need for the beach, do a load of laundry, to make a quick breakfast and have a restful stay. The pool is the perfect size and makes monitoring our young kids really easy because it's in perfect view from inside. Communication from the owners was excellent, too. This is our standard of vrbo properties that earn 5 stars. If we return to Sarasota again, we will come back! Thanks again!

Jacaranda Hills Rental

My husband and I have been renting different houses in Sarasota for the month of March for the last 5 years, and this has been our favorite. First of all, the owners, Scott and Jill, were great. Very responsive to our concerns and made sure we felt at home. Secondly, the house was lovely and very well stocked with all the essential things needed in a rental. The pool, although on the small side, worked out great for the two of us, and we spend most of our time in the lanai and around the pool when we were there. Last of all, the house was in a very centrally located area with easy drivable access to the beach, lots of great restaurants and shopping. Thank you Scott and Jill, and I hope we will see you again!

Pristine Home in the Gulf Gate Community

For our vacation this year we had the pleasure of discovering Jacaranda Hill! The house is located close to everything a person could ask for – Siesta Key, restaurants, grocery & fun shops. This house checked every box we look for in a rental & added a few more to look for in the future. The property was spotless & well maintained. You can tell that the owners live in the area keeping everything in above-standard condition. Scott & Jill responded rapidly to any questions that we had & were lovely hosts during our stay. The house had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen for all of our cooking needs. The filtered water at the sink was a life saver. The beds were very comfortable, the AC kept up with the Florida heat & the laundry area was clean & bright. The living area of the house is spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to find their favorite spot to unwind. The large baker block counter was perfect for our rainy day board games. In the mornings and evenings, we relaxed on the lanai where there is ample seating with ceiling fans to keep you cool & a fun plunge pool that was big enough for 4 adults. The circular driveway is perfect for multiple cars; we were even able to park our car in the garage which is a real bonus! We loved our stay at Jacaranda Hill & would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a worry free rental home. There’s nothing like a perfect home to make your vacation everything you dreamed it would be!

We had a great stay here! The owner made everything easy from check-in to communication during our stay. Any questions we had while there were answered quickly, and the host was quick to be helpful. The house was clean and stocked with everything you could need to make the stay comfortable and easy! The pool and back deck were a great spot to relax and enjoy some sun!

Hi, we are Jill and Scott Marsh...owners of Jacaranda Hill. We chose this name because of the beautiful Jacaranda tree in the front yard. We started vacationing in Sarasota over 20 years ago to get out of the lake effect snow region of Indiana. We have since moved to Sarasota full time. Jill retired after 35 years of teaching elementary children in a public school. I have worked at the same company for 40 years, but am now doing it from my Sarasota home office! We enjoy Pickleball, golf, friends and the many things to do here.
We have a little dog so understand wanting to have her with you on a vacation.

We chose this property because of its location. The home in Gulf Gate has a village within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and many services. We are in between Venice and downtown Sarasota/St. Armand's Circle. A short drive takes you to Anna Maria Island, Long Boat Key, Siesta Key, and Casey Key...the barrier islands along the gulf coast. There are so many things to do here.
We purchased this home 2 years ago and have totally renovated it.
This is our first time renting the home but are sure you will enjoy it. Jill and I live nearby and are available to help make your stay an enjoyable one.
