Located on a quiet street, our one-level, 3 bedroom/2.5 bath home is walking distance to the Pier, our quaint and popular Village, the SSI Lighthouse and the beach. Convenient to the south end of the island's great restaurants, shopping, dog park, pickleball courts and more!
Our sweet getaway is newly renovated with a private, fenced-in back yard, including a large outdoor patio and plenty of room to stretch your legs. Pet-friendly, so bring the dog!
Enter our home through the screened front porch, complete with rocking chairs (our favorite spot for morning coffee before the day gets started!). The front door leads into an open concept common area, including a living room with fireplace, spacious kitchen, dining area and sunroom.
The living room is complete with comfortable seating facing TV over fireplace. We have cable or you can stream your own favorite apps, if you prefer. The kitchen includes large island with two bar stools, two sinks, double oven, and stainless steel appliances. The dining area includes seating for six. The sunroom is complete with additional seating (great for reading a good book), as well as a desk for those needing space to work remotely. The laundry room is between the kitchen and master bedroom and includes both washer, dryer and a half bath.
The bedrooms are split layout, great for families, with the Master bed and bath on one side and the two guest rooms on the opposite side. The guest rooms are separated from the common area by a door so little ones can sleep undisturbed. Guest Room to the left includes a King-sized bed. The Guest room to the right includes built in bunks with 3 twin beds and one queen. Both rooms share a full shower/tub combo bathroom located in between the two rooms. The Master bedroom includes a king sized bed with a bathroom with a shower for one. All bedrooms include closets and smart TVs.
Guests and fur babies can exit the house to the back yard through the sunroom (includes a doggy door) onto a spacious covered patio facing the back yard with two beautiful 150 -year-old oaks and coastal palm trees -- private and perfect to set up to watch the game, enjoy a meal, cup of coffee or adult cocktail as you wind down from an amazing day on the island.
Our house includes a driveway to park two vehicles comfortably, as well as a garage stocked with beach supplies, including a few chairs, buggy, small cooler and some beach toys to use during your stay. We also include four bikes in your rental to use if you wish! This is our little home away from home, so we try to include all the things you need to not have to hassle with packing odds and ends.
Enjoy a short walk to access the pickleball courts and the SSI Village, with quick access to the pier, shops and great restaurants. You’ll be 0.3 miles from the Pier Village, and only 0.5 miles to beach access.
