ÜBER DAS GEBIET

Gray's Crossing, ein 750 Hektar großes Grundstück am nördlichen Ende des Martis Valley, bietet friedliche Abgeschiedenheit von Menschenmassen und Verkehr, ohne sich isoliert zu fühlen. Mit hunderten Hektar offener Fläche und vielen Wander- und Radwegen wird es sich wie ein abgelegener Ort anfühlen. Great place for families. Neighborhood was beautiful, quiet, and close to everything. House was comfortable, roomy, clean, and had everything we needed. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay!

The house was so beautiful and roomy. I had my elderly father on the first floor with us and the kids were all upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms had everything we needed as well as a bench for my dad to sit while he showered. Great outside sitting area. We had lots of sun and then it even snowed. The house stayed cool and warm when we needed it most. This really was a great house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was exactly as advertised. We rented it for a long weekend to celebrate a major family birthday--it was comfortable for all 13 of us. The space was clean, the location was great and the amenities were second to none. We had one minor issue with the wireless Internet--we called, they sent someone out to the home and the issue was resolved within an hour. Top notch. Would definitely return!

This place sucks

Dirty, things not working or not as advertised and rental company does nothing about it. Some lights don’t work, missing light bulbs, filthy area rugs, grill not working, primary bedroom bed old and impossible to sleep in just to name a few. Rental company a joke.

To shed some light on this reservation. This guest checked-in and immediately had a huge list of everything he didn't like about the property. The biggest issue was the patio furniture not being out and available. Due to the extreme winters we have, we only guarantee patio furniture will be available seasonal (Labor Day through Memorial Day). I'm happy to report the primary bedroom now has a brand new mattress!

fun spring break ski week

We really enjoyed the place -group of 5 plus our dog. We were at first concerned about location being far out, but ended up going to Northstar a couple of days and had lunch at the alpine club up top (Schaffer's). Nice perk and used the location conveniently. With 80 being clear, location really didn't matter. One day we even drove to Sierra at Tahoe and came back around Incline. The house was a in very good shape, only downside was Direct TV didn't work but that was due to snow on room, so nothing to blame. Kitchen was roomy and good but we had to bring everything consumable (no salt or pepper, e.g.)so just be aware when packing. There were several lights out (one in the bathroom) which should have been fixed but not that big of a deal. If I was super picky, I'd drop a 1/2 point but I'm not so.... Otherwise, had plenty of room for group and would rent house again for sure.

Very comfortable

Great space and good layout. Kitchen is very well equipped with good pots and pans and knives which is almost never the case with short term rentals. When we arrived some of the beds were half made, I called the property management company and they were there in 10 minutes to fix it. There was an issue with the ovens - one was already broken but we could never figure out if the other one was working properly or not. The management company offered a loaner but we decided to just not use the oven. There are some minor maintenance issues - some pillows need to be replaced, light bulbs need to be changed, remote controls need new batteries, there are holes in some of the window screens and some window latches are broken but overall it was a very pleasant stay. If it's summer and you have kids, the add on for the facilities at the Old Greenwood Pavilion is a must!

Big Family Getaway!

This well-appointed cabin did not disappoint. We traveled with our adult kids and cousins so we were a total of 9 adults with plenty of room to sleep, move about and stretch without running into each other for a holiday ski weekend. Bedrooms: beds were comfortable, warm and with cozy bedding throughout all rooms. Loved the fireplace & shower in the Master.Common areas: Upstairs loft was well thought out with tv and game area. Downstairs: Office/sofa bed room was a plus as our college student was able to hideaway for homework and offered a respite area.Living room: sofas were clean, comfortable and warm. The fireplace Hearth kept the room warm and was a focal point as was the view from the sliding door leading to the open backyard area. Kitchen: well stocked with utensils, large pots, serving trays, baking ware (cupcake pan), prep bowls, griddle, knife block, blender, etc. Putting it here as when I message to ask for particular appliances, they didn't get specific so hopefully this will help others. My husband loved the 8 burner Fisher Paykal chef stove!Laundry: always nice to have this area in a house. We brought our own detergent etc and did one load but they also had supplies.Highpoints from our crew: heating bathroom floors, jacuzzi, open backyard area to play in snow, kitchen and master retreat and the garage is stocked with winter shovels/snow gear. Home is updated and current! Note: Bring own shampoo/conditioner. Thanks for the stay and the memories!

Great Ski Getaway

Beautiful property with great views and convenient access to the highway to get to Palisades, which is where we skied. Pretty great amenities. The kitchen is really spacious and the range/oven is huge, which is great for cooking big meals for a large crowd. The only thing lacking was adequate cleaning supplies to keep the kitchen and bathrooms easily cleaned up. The pots and pans in the kitchen were also a bit beat up. The hot tub was perfect for post-ski soreness, but the lights in the back porch were out.

It was overall good experience. The few things that can be improved on are provide better quality paper towel, bathroom tissue, wash cloths and window coverings in the bathroom, replace comforters they smell musty. The TVs are outdated, we weren’t able to connect our devices via Bluetooth. We enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and heated flooring and the sizes and set up of the rooms are perfect.

Really nice and comfortable cabin. Large space and well equipped.

The cabin was well equipped. Lots of space and beds were good. Very nice stay for large groups.

Truly a Treasure in Truckee

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This luxury home was perfect for our stay in Truckee. Our daughter planned her wedding at PJs at Grey's Crossing and we were looking for something to accommodate 3 couples and a few of her bridesmaids. It was all that we hoped it would be to add to her dream come true! The hot tub and all rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the house was well stocked with kitchen essentials and bath towels. Plenty of room for our large group to spread out and relax.

Amazing cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great cabin and excellent location. Was blown away stepping through the door. The only knock I have was that the bed frame slates were collapsed on the bed I was sleeping on so it was a little uncomfortable. Told the management company, but not much they could do at the time. Seeing how responsive the company was and their customer service, I'm sure they'll take care of it for the next tenants!

Awesome Place

Great Tahoe vacation spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a convenient location to access lots of Tahoe activities, with lots of space and quiet neighborhood. The house is a beautiful property but some things need attention- spot lights out, loose facets in MB, loose window handles everywhere, fireplace clickers do not work(need batteries?)

Perfect house in Truckee!

Perfect for our family wedding outside Truckee. the main living area had lots of space for everyone to spend time together. The upstairs space was perfect if people wanted to get away and play games. The kitchen and bar were filled with stemware, glasses, plates, etc. - more than enough for everyone in the family. The back patio is right off the living area for an extension of the living space. The bedrooms were comfy. The hot tube was awesome. Literally - EVERYTHING was PERFECT. We're coming back.

Summer stay was a dream!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this home three times and wouldn't think of another place to stay! Although some of the pictures are winter wonderlands this house is AMAZING in the summer with its expansive backyard, allowing corn hole and the kids to have scavenger hunts! And with access to Old Greenwood's pool, kids pool, gym, spa and kids club - you couldn't ask for a better family experience!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home needs to be better maintained, toilets running constantly, coffee maker and BBQ not working. Outdoor furniture has been eaten by rodents and critters - literally eating the stuffing out of the pillows. Could make it easier to for renters e.g. Providing garage door openers and more than one key.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a gorgeous cabin. Very spacious and comfortable for 12 people in our group. Everything was neatly cleaned and wiped. By far the best cabin I've ever stayed at in Tahoe. The kitchen is fully stocked with cups, wine glasses, plates, bowls, utensils and kitchen appliances.
