Situated in the hear of the Moonridge Corridor and just across the street from the Bear Mountain Moonridge lot, this 4BR/2.5BA is big enough for your entire group.
Enjoy thrilling days of snowboarding, skiing or sledding on the slopes with Snow Summit and Bear Mountain nearby, and with the Big Bear Mountain Resort shuttle just across the street, you wont have to worry about finding parking.
You’ll also be a few minutes away from the lake and the Village. The golf course and Big Bear Zoo are a short walk away along with the cafes and coffee and breakfast shops of the Moonridge Corridor. In warmer months, enjoy mountain biking, and hiking in the forest with trail access behind the
cabin.
After an exhilarating day of outdoor adventures, relax in your private backyard, complete with a hot tub and grill. A custom concrete patio table with benches has seating for 8 and is covered by an LED lighted umbrella. The fully fenced backyard has doggie door access from the house so your furry family member can come in and out at will. White and remote controlled color changing LED lighting illuminate your way, just please remember to turn them off before you head in. Challenge someone in your group to a game of giant chess or horseshoes in the backyard, loser washes the dishes!
The front porch includes a bistro table for two.
LIVING AREA
An electric fireplace and a 60" wall mounted flat-screen TV (equipped with a 4K Firestick and Samsung smart hub for access to all popular streaming channels) take center stage in the well-lit living area. A leather sofa and several armchairs provide comfy seating, while a large bay window allows in lovely natural light.
KITCHEN & DINING
Prepare tasty meals in the well-appointed kitchen, equipped with ample counter space to accommodate serving your entire party. A full suite of appliances and top of the line cookware including a 12 piece Tramontina Gourmet Stainless Steel Tri-Ply cookware set, professional knife set and blender, make cooking here a breeze. As our altitude is 6,752 feet above sea level, don't forget to make high altitude cooking adjustments!
The breakfast table is great for morning coffee, and gourmet coffee pods and single use bags of grounds are provided complimentary for use in the Keurig style coffee maker, along with creamer, sugar & sugar free sweetener and complimentary paper cups with lids and sleeves so you can enjoy your coffee on the go.
The dining area doubles as a game room, and you’ll find a long table seating 8, which also converts to a pool table for after-dinner games. Nearby are Big Buck Hunter Pro and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles video arcade machines. Can you beat my high score? Complete with a variety of board games, you will never have a dull moment at Casa Amarilla!
BED & BATH
This two-story home sleeps eight adults.
The master suite features a king bed and a plush love seat surrounded by large bay windows, as well as a 55" 4k Fire TV, so you can catch up on your shows while the kids are in their rooms. A high speed ceiling fan ensures that the temperature is just right. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower with a built-in seat.
Two more bedrooms each have queen beds and ceiling fans, while a fourth bedroom has a king bed, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and a flat-screen TV with a 4K Firestick and a high efficiency ceiling fan. The guest bathroom offers a tub/shower combination.
Downstairs, a half bath provides added convenience.

Guest access
Guests will have the entire home to themselves except a locked linen and kitchen cabinet, and backyard shed in which vendor and owner supplies are stored.

This rental does not have air-conditioning.
The City of Big Bear Lake requires vacation rentals to have an in-person check in. Additionally, you will be required to sign a Good neighbor policy/ Rental agreement prior to your arrival.
We will be able to answer any questions during your stay, and there is a contact person nearby to help with emergency needs. Please feel free to contact us with any questions about the cabin. We will do our best to help you ASAP.
Quiet hours are 10pm-7am. Parties prohibited.
Pets Allowed : House-trained and friendly dog(s)/ cat(s) is/are welcomed with a per pet $75 non-refundable pet fee; the pet fee is paid separately after your booking. No additional animals unless approved in advance with additional fee. Your pet must not be left unattended, and you agree to clean up after them. Minimum $150 fee for any undisclosed animals.
There is (1) RING doorbell security camera at the front door and (1) RING floodlight camera affixed to the exterior of the house and facing the driveway. There are no cameras inside the home. The cameras are to ensure your security during your stay and protect the property during vacancies, and to capture awesome footage of the occasional bear.
In the winter:
The electric fireplace does not require or accept any fuel.
Please check travel restrictions during the snow season. Caltrans requires that all vehicles traveling in the mountains carry chains.
Our plowing company will do their best to get our driveway and walkway plowed in time for your arrival, and there will be a shovel out for your use. In the case of a heavy snowstorm, you may experience slow and heavy traffic. As long as there is at least one road access to get to the mountain, your booking cannot be canceled.
