Spacious, serene, newly Renovated 1 BR/Studio in the heart of NW. A perfect location to take in all that DC has to offer - in beautiful, tree-lined Mt Pleasant next door to the National Zoo/Rock Creek Park (& all of its bike/walking trails). Easy (10 mins) walking distance to Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, & multiple public transit options (metro,bike,bus) to get you anywhere else in the City in mins. Enjoy farmers markets, best bars & restaurants in DC, Effortless Parking, access to groceries.
The space
Newly renovated (2022) English basement apartment of an historic rowhome.
Apartment Features:
Provided FREE Parking permit for free street parking.* Parking is almost always abundant right out front. Permit will be printed out, ready for you. Stress-free to start your visit off right!
Sound proofing: Renovations included decoupling from the above sub-floor, adding soundproof insulation, and double layer of 5/8” drywall. We do live upstairs and you may hear some light footsteps but in general you won't hear us and we won't hear you!!
Kitchen: Enjoy a full kitchen with all brand-new appliances (coffee maker, oven, range, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, full fridge/freezer/ice) fully stocked with coffee, tea, and snacks
Bedroom: Extremely comfortable Queen size Beauty Rest pillow top, plush new rug, white noise maker, full size mirror and dimmable lighting. The bedroom is not walled off from the living area, but there is a privacy screen that can be extended to close off the space.
Walk-In Closet with hangers and clothing steamer
Second Bed: Queen size sleeper sofa in living room with plush mattress topper
Living/Dining: Blue velour chaise lounge sofa and 65” HD Roku Smart TV and Dining table with West Elm leather chairs that easily accommodates 4

NOTE: This is an English basement, ceiling height is 7' throughout, but there is an architectural beam running down the middle so if you are very, very tall you may need to duck in a few spots
*A visitor parking permit will be printed out and provided to guests so they may park in the neighborhood. The parking will be good for the duration of your visit. You will need to supply the make, color, and license plate number for DC’s parking pass system.

The space is a totally separate basement apartment. There is a stairway door in the bedroom that will remain locked. The patio is a shared space with the hosts.
Other things to note
The apartment is brand-new, renovated specifically for VRBO, and designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We live upstairs and would love to help make your stay perfect however we can! Providing our guests with great hospitality is our priority!
