This carefully renovated home offers an oversized kitchen with a gas range, a large island, and a beverage station. The large windows overlook the spacious yard. The living and dining room is separated by an antique fireplace. The rooms are spacious and well laid out within the home. There are three newly renovated bathrooms, including a first-floor bath with a walk-in shower and a large laundry room on the main level. The house is conveniently located on Route 13, close to the NH line. Please note, there is a small studio apartment at the rear of the property with separate entrances, and the parking area is shared.

The only big problem was an infestation of flies. We broke all the fly swatters and made some from magazines. Plus we bought 2 new fly swatters and left them there.

What a great place to have family visiting with us! The rooms were all great size. The kitchen is huge and wonderful! We have family in the area and were able to have each family over on different nights. It was great to cook for them and visit with them. Family weekend in Townsend

Holiday get- together

We stayed for several days to visit family. Had a wonderful get-together on Saturday. The house was perfect for handling siblings, children and grandchildren. Very comfortable, beautifully decorated, up-to-date, and wonderfully spacious. Our host fantastic—responsive and helpful.

Nice house

Nice and big house, with a big and pretty kitchen.Bathrooms and rooms are also to good.The only comment that I have is about the WiFi connection, a lot of issues with this, and most of the time you lose connection when you are upstairs

This house was very spacious and beautiful. We were very comfortable for the week we spent there. The owner was great we had a small issue upon check in and she came right over to resolve it. I would highly recommend this property.

Thoughtfully Designed Farmhouse

It was such a joy to stay at the farmhouse. It was the perfect size for 7 adults to stay comfortably with plenty of space to spread out. The host was extremely responsive and thoughtful and even brought by a beautiful bouquet of flowers. It is in a beautiful area and the farmhouse was clean and easy to access- the perfect stay for a wedding weekend. As other reviews mentioned, it is near a busy road so we recommend having a sound machine and/or face mask to help make it more comfortable if you are planning to stay in the front room. However, the road did not prevent us from having a wonderful and restful stay.

We loved our stay at the farmhouse

We absolutely loved the house. There was more than enough room for 4 of us and 2 large dogs. The entire house has been renovated beautifully. The old charm is still there along with the modern conveniences. We too could hear the traffic noise but after a couple days it faded into the background. Kayla was so accessible and accommodated our schedule changes. We would definitely stay again.

Loved the house, great size, well appointed. Great for the local area including Southern NH and eastern Ma and ME. Was surprised there was another person occupying a separate area of the house. Lots of road noise. The host was very responsive.

Great for our needs

We needed a location that was close to southern NH. We wanted space to cook and host family. This place offered what we needed. Large kitchen, plenty of space. Instructions for WiFi and appliances were provided upon request, but instructions on premises are preferable. The property managers were lovely and the goats in the barn were a bonus for guests.

In town for a wedding

The renovated farmhouse was both beautiful and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and well equipped. The beds are ALL king size which is one of the main reasons this place appealed to us so much. The bathrooms were very spacious as well! The only thing that is a negative is that we could hear the traffic noise since the home is so close the somewhat busy street. We would stay there again though just because it’s so spacious pretty and comfortable.

Great stay at the Farmhouse!

Huge place with plenty of space to socialize and also to get away for some alone time. Kayla is an excellent host and even though we didn’t need anything during our stay she was very responsive when messaging. We were in town for my daughter’s wedding and had plenty of room for the hair stylist to work with the wedding party. Some things to note: the property is directly on the main road so the vehicle noise is a bit much. It settles down at night. Cell service is spotty, and there is WiFi, but as is typical with older properties, the thick walls don’t allow the signal to get very far. Overall we are extremely happy with our experience and would definitely stay there again.

Lots of space

The home was very nice and spacious with everything we needed. The home is situated only a few feet from a busy road with tons of traffic throughout the night. There are also residents attached to the rear of the home but that wasn’t an issue. Unfortunately the flies were out of control and we spent so much time killing them. Wished the description of the location would have been better. All in all an ok stay.

Exceptional!

This property is GORGEOUS! Very spacious and CLEAN -exceeded our expectations, especially for Massachusetts. Everything is well-kept and brand new. The kitchen was stocked with cookware. Seeing the horses each morning was such a treat. Kayla, the host, couldn’t be more kind and generous. The tenant/neighbor was also accommodating as we had many cars. I highly recommend this rental for large families and groups of friends.

Great Place to Stay!

We were in town for a wedding in Groton, MA and found this farmhouse to stay at for a couple of days. This place is beautiful and very clean! We had 2 18 month olds with us and they had plenty of room to run around. The host was very easy to communicate with and her recommendations for things to do/places to eat were phenomenal! Close to grocery store, pizza, gas, etc. Only thing is the home is right along a busy road. It can get noisy with the traffic and the first floor bedroom can get bright when sleeping with the headlights blaring in. Not a dealbreaker at all! We would stay here again!

Lovely rental in rural Mass

This was a great vacation rental in rural Mass. The house is gorgeous and well maintained. The kitchen is huge and so are the bedrooms. We had family here for a gathering and the location and house are perfect for a large family. The beds are comfortable which is a big plus. We loved seeing the horses in the field. The owner was lovely and very accommodating. She was also quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this rental. This is a pet friendly house and that is always great for folks that have pets. My only recommendation is that the linens had dog hair on them that did not get removed when laundered but other than that perfection.
