We completely understand how difficult the stairs must have been while traveling with an elderly family member. The elevator and shuttle are managed by the resort; however, we recognize that these issues still affected your overall experience. Thank you for your feedback but I feel it’s important to respond with the full story especially since your review was both unfair and misleading. I’ve been managing vacation rentals for over 10 years and I’ve never encountered a guest as difficult and entitled as you. From the moment you inquired you were sending nonstop messages to my personal number not even through Vrbo including messages every 10 minutes constantly changing your mind about the reservation. One minute you wanted to cancel then it was your sister’s fault then the drive was too long and I still accommodated you respectfully. When you arrived I received multiple complaints about noise from other guests and nearby owners including formal complaints to building management. Despite that I never brought it up during your stay. As for the washer and dryer it’s a new combo unit under full warranty only 6 months old and works perfectly for all other guests. I provided clear instructions tried to assist you kindly through messages which I have proof of and even interrupted my work meeting to respond to you. You refused any written help and demanded a phone call even after I explained everything and kept calling and texting my personal phone. What’s even more disappointing is that you threatened to leave a bad review unless I gave you something for free which is completely unethical and unacceptable. Honestly I’ve never seen a guest misuse appliances like that. The system even alerted me that the washer was being overloaded and left running for hours with wet laundry inside and still I didn’t say a word. I’ve hosted hundreds of respectful families over the years who appreciated their stay and took care of the place. But your review says it all not once did you say thank you not one positive word about the home’s cleanliness location or comfort. That speaks volumes. I do not recommend renting to this guest under any circumstances. I wouldn’t rent to her again if she offered ten times the price
