The Checkmate is a beautifully designed two bedroom ranch home located in the heart of Roeland Park, KS! The property is nestled in a cozy neighborhood, but still minutes from eclectic shops, restaurants and downtown KC. This home features 2 bedrooms and an additional queen daybed in the den off the living room, two workstations, private parking, high speed WIFI and a fully stocked kitchen! It's also PET FRIENDLY!! *PARTIES - All gatherings must be limited to 8, this is monitored and guests violating this rule will be charged a mandatory $700 fine. NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ARE ALLOWED.

*PETS - We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet and $100 for two that is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet, host provides dog bag stations.) The back yard is not fenced but the neighborhood is perfect for walking! There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.

*Full refund will be provided if guest cancels more than five days prior to arrival minus any processing fees. No refund will be given if cancelled within five days of arrival.
The host will not be on site during the stay but can be reached via text, email or phone call!

This home offers two comfortable bedrooms with tons of space and hardwood floors. There is an additional Queen daybed in the den right off the living room. The property has an amazing wood deck off the back of the home with a large backyard! We do allow pets at the property, there is not a fully fenced backyard but the neighborhood is perfect for walking! Dog bags are provided via a dog station outside.
