The Drake - Historic Home with Swag

Make yourself at home when you stay at this stylish vacation rental in the heart of the city. This historic home has a mood all its own. Thoughtfully curated with loads of art and unique touches to ensure your stay is anything but boring. The Drake (meaning duck) is a very subtle underlying theme of the house inspired by the owner's grandfather who purchased the town of Drake Colorado in 1976.

Take advantage of the location by walking to the charming Downtown Dundee neighborhood for dinner, drinks, and fun or utilize the fully equipped kitchen and moody dining room to wine and dine at home. The well-appointed living room offers cozy vibes and a smart TV that is compatible with any of your preferred streaming services...and if TV isn't your thing, enjoy some fresh air on the deck set-up with an outdoor sectional and romantic string lights hung above. The bedrooms are furnished with high-end plush pillow top mattresses, luxurious bamboo sheets, and room-darkening curtains to ensure you get a good night's sleep. There are three main bedrooms and a sunroom converted into a 4th bedroom with a twin over full bunk. This room has an open doorway to one of the bedrooms, which is great for kids, and plenty of additional space for a pack-and-play or extra luggage if needed. In addition to the bedrooms, the living room also has a pull-out sofa to help accommodate larger groups. There are two full bathrooms with a shower and tub, one on the main floor and one upstairs. While the basement is unfinished at this time, there is a washer and dryer for your use. You'll enjoy this home's warmth and hospitality as each room offers something unique.

In regards to accessing the property, we use a smart lock and keyless entry system. You will be provided with your own code before your check-in that you will utilize for the duration of your stay.

Something to note: the house is located on a somewhat busy street. There is a dedicated driveway and a large park pad in front of the house. We ask that you please use the driveway only as the park pad belongs to the city and is used for delivery vehicles or city vehicles from time to time.
