Dieses historische Haus am Wasser aus dem 19. Jahrhundert befindet sich im Herzen von Rockport direkt am ruhigen alten Hafen von Rockport. Sichtbalken und Parkettböden mit unglaublichem Panoramablick auf Sandy Bay und The Old Harbour. Das Wohnzimmer, das Esszimmer und die Terrasse sind alle zum Wasser ausgerichtet. Sie sind so nah wie möglich am Meer. Dieses historische Anwesen war um die Jahrhundertwende das alte Zollhaus. Schiffe hielten an der Anlegestelle in der Bucht an, um hier den Zoll zu erledigen. Originalbalken und -böden werden liebevoll gepflegt.
Genießen Sie spektakuläre Sonnenuntergänge und Meeresbrisen von unserem Haus im 2. Stock. Ein Queen-Schlafzimmer, Vollbad, gut ausgestattete Küche vervollständigen diese idyllische Landschaft. Die dörflichen Galerien, Geschäfte und Restaurants im Herzen von Rockports Kulturviertel erreichen Sie bequem zu Fuß. Genießen Sie Ihren Kaffee auf unserem Hafendeck mit Bistrotisch, beobachten Sie das Panorama des Kommens und Gehens am Meer, die malerischen Gebäude am Bearskin Neck und Motiv Nr. 1 sowie die Bootsaktivitäten des Alten Hafens. Sie können Ihr Kajak von unserem Grundstück aus starten. Auf Meereshöhe erwartet Sie eine weitere private kleine Terrasse zum Essen und Sitzen mit Stufen zum Wasser und zum privaten Sandstrand. Hören Sie auf der anderen Seite der Bucht die Musik der Konzerte am Sonntagabend oder gehen Sie ein Stück zu Fuß, um Konzerte am Back Beach zu veranstalten. Wir sind nur eine Minute zu Fuß von Rockports atemberaubendem neuen Shalin Liu Performance Center und The Rockport Art Assn entfernt.
Der Pendlerzug nach Boston ist 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Der hintere und vordere Strand sind nur zwei Minuten entfernt und Granitstufen führen vom Grundstück zum alten Hafen. Boston und Logan Airport sind 40 Meilen. Ein Taxiservice ist verfügbar.

This charming,extremely well appointed property provided a home away from home experience in the very heart of Rockport. The view was beautiful. Because the apartment is directly above a very busy coffee shop in an old building with very little noise insulation, there is no sleeping after 6AM when the staff arrives to open the shop.

Perfect spot in Rockport - we loved our stay! The host was friendly and responsive, and the location couldn’t be better. It's in walking distance to shops and restaurants, and right above a great coffee shop. The place was perfect for two, with a beautiful harbor view and the sound of waves as the tide came in. I have stayed all over Cape Ann and especially Rockport for many years. This was the best. The kitchen is fully kitted out. (And yes, there was even a box grater!) The windows that overlook the harbor and the tiny porch that does as well were perfect for lounging on the sofa, perusing the interesting range of books and magazines or dining outside (which we did each of the four nights we stayed). It's lovely that the Bean and Leaf--long a favorite spot of mine--is just downstairs with good coffee and yummy nibbles. Since it's on Bearskin Neck, parking is a challenge (but you can unload right at the foot of the outdoor staircase and then park), but that was to be expected and it's never disappointing to walk a little bit around Rockport. It's a lovely spot to stay (and The Ice Cream Shop is just next door)!

Great view and location

We came to Rockport for a long weekend. The place was very comfortable with an amazing view of the harbor and a perfect location. Note that it is over a cafe as mentioned in other reviews (early 6am wake-up) which didn’t bother us much. We enjoyed the close access to the cafe for breakfast and snacks.

Great get away to Rockport

We had a great few days and were able to explore many walks right from the property and the beach was just a third of a mile away. The town was just getting going for the summer and more restaurants open by the weekend. This was a great introduction to Rockport and we had a fun sail on a schooner down in Gloucester as well

Gorgeous spot!

This is an absolutely beautiful, charming, and spacious apartment in an outstanding location - right in Bearskin Neck with views of the harbor. Light sleepers will want earplugs for when the cafe comes to life early in the morning, but everything else was terrific!

We purchased this property for it's beautiful waterfront location directly on Rockport's hidden gem the Old Harbour. This is our home some of the year and folks do love the excellent location when staying here while we’re traveling.

The property is directly on The Old Harbor and offers panoramic views and is within walking distance to many of the attractions in Rockport. You are beachside here and can enjoy our small private beach or walk a few minutes to the larger public beach. Our guests love the location of this property on quaint Bearskin Neck. A perfect perchfor a dose of Vitamin Sea.
