Our group of 8 people really enjoyed our weeklong stay in Downtown Diggs for a family reunion.Our favorite things about the house were the location within a short walk to downtown, the spacious first floor common rooms where we could all gather to visit, and the lovely outdoor spaces including the hot tub.A few things about the house could be improved. Some of the wooden furniture is quite worn and needs to be refinished or replaced. The kitchen has many plates, glasses, and serving pieces but is lacking in some food prep and clean up items like scissors, mixing bowls, cups, dish rags and a dish drain. The placement of the microwave below the counter is very inconvenient, requiring one to sit or kneel on the floor to read the unfamiliar controls. Microwave instructions would also be helpful.More storage in the bedrooms and bathrooms would be great. The addition of more hooks and towel racks would be a help. 3 of the bedrooms are in the basement. While there are some windows the basement is a bit dark. Most of the items noted can be easily corrected and would make a stay at Downtown Diggs even more enjoyable.The Paso Vacation Renals staff was very responsive, even volunteering to send a staff person out on the weekend to check a malfunctioning ice maker.
