Perfect family vacation destination.Beautiful home that sits right on Fish River, a nature lovers paradise. Perfect for a quiet getaway to kayak, fish , swim and enjoy nature. Also close to our gorgeous white sandy beaches in Gulf Shores Alabama and beautiful communities like Fairhope and Magnolia Springs. There are plenty of nature adventures to enjoy like the Weeks Bay Pitcher Bog and nature trail just 3 minutes from house. House has 3 beautiful bedrooms and space for air mattress if needed to accommodate your family. You also have your own private pier to fish, cookout or just enjoy all the wonderful nature surrounding you. Kayak and fishing rods are provided as well as multiple items for swimming . Beach towels are provided. Kitchen is stocked with all your needs for cooking as well as having a COFFEE/ TEA BAR for your enjoyment. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are provided for your pleasure. Luxury linens and spa like towels are provided to help your stay more enjoyable . Dove products are also supplied in both bathrooms for your use. Large smart TV in living room and a TV is in master bedroom . You can log in to your Netflix and other personal accounts. This is a perfect home to relax, play and enjoy nature at its best.

Great stay. Loved the area and home was very clean. Only thing I would recommend is updating property details that the grill is a very old treager. Also more detailed instructions in the book at the house about grill, fan on dock, where to find things would be nice. Other than that we loved it there.

Great relaxing getaway!

James’ Riverhouse on the Fish River was just what we needed. The house was exceptionally clean, had everything we needed and very spacious. The dock was the perfect place to watch the sunset. Great neighbors, really enjoyed meeting them! Thanks James for sharing your home with us.

Great house in a great location!

Everything about our stay was wonderful. All communication in advance was prompt and seamless. Property was as described-so clean and totally stocked with everything we needed! Bed so comfortable. We especially enjoyed the dock-fishing and catching crabs. Location is convenient to restaurants, shopping and golf courses. Can’t wait to return!

Couldn’t be better

This property is extremely nice. Very clean house with amazing beds a nice bedrooms and a nice size living/dining room to accommodate the whole family. This property is located right on fish river with one of the nicest boat docks I’ve seen an a big back yard with plenty of room for your pets to play. I really liked the location away from all the traffic a red lights but still only fifteen minutes from Foley. I would recommend this property to everyone looking to stay in the area. I will definitely be comming back.

Wonderful!

We were in town for a Friday wedding so we only stayed a couple of nights...but wish we had planned for a longer stay! The house is cute and comfortable, like your Nana's home...but has everything that you might need, like a fancy hotel. I forgot a few things and figured I would have to make a trek to the grocery store, but they thought of everything. The dock was one of my favorite things...2 swinging beds and another swing, plus a full table and chairs for outdoor dining. The next door neighbor was very welcoming, too. Easy arrival and super-easy checkout. We'd love to return and bring our boat! Thank you for your generosity!

Wonderful weekend vacation

It was very peaceful. Super nice neighbors. I took 2 foster kids. The 11 year old boy had never been to the beach. The kids spent a lot of time in the water at the house. When they weren’t in the water they were fishing. They caught a lot of catfish. I think they enjoyed swimming at the house better than the beach! We’re definitely planning to go back!

Definitely Going Back

Perfect location for what we wanted - about 20 minutes to the outlets in Foley and 20 minutes to Fairhope. The house reminded us of an old fish camp. It's not fancy, but it is clean and ideal for spending your time outdoors. The dock is great for watching the sunset. The neighbors on both sides are friendly. We had a couple of questions while we were there. The property manager, Mary, was easy to reach and very helpful. My husband is eager to book our next stay. Thank you for your hospitality! We will definitely be back.

Plenty of fantastic locally owned restaurants, coffee shops and wonderful little shops to find the perfect souvenir. And don’t forget to visit the Pier and see the beautiful roses, pelicans and watch locals fishing.
