New home as of 2023, second row home steps from the ocean with a private (unheated) pool! Hot and cold fully enclosed outdoor shower located next to pool.
Previous owners of Beach to Beech on Oak Island with over 25 years of property management and hospitality experience and only 5 STAR reviews!
Chick Inn of the Sea is new construction! We are a third row home that feels more like second row being only 250 feet from beach access and Golf Cart Parking. Only two houses in from Middleton with a safe sidewalk walk to the beach access. Did I mention that Chick Inn of the Sea has its own golf cart for guests to use if you don’t want to walk?
You'll be greeted at the front door by a life sized mermaid with a welcome gift and it only gets better from there! Chick Inn of the Sea has everything you could need to help you relax and enjoy your stay! We pride ourselves on providing well appointed properties. We provide too many amenities to list! All living areas are on one level with front and back stairs leading to both welcoming decks and entrances.
- 2 master suites with private bathrooms and fully tiled walk in showers!
One master has a king bed and a walk in closet.
The second master has a queen bed.
- 2 additional bedrooms share a full bath with a tub/shower combination! One bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has 4 twin beds/2 bunk beds.
- The great room and kitchen have an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings for everyone's comfort and a designated dining are with dining for 11 people including bar height seating at the kitchen island for 3.
- All rooms have large, flat screen smart TV's for streaming your favorite movies and shows.
- The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you might need. We even provide a state of the art Bartesian Cocktail mixer if cocktails are your thing. (We do not provide the pods)
- We provide items that most have to rent, i.e. clean bed linens, towels and washcloths, pool towels, fat tire beach bicycles, golf cart….. beach equipment…..
- Bed linens and fresh towels are plentiful.
- Private saltwater pool with a 4' security fence with lockable gates and a back deck that overlooks the pool.
- Enhanced recreational areas with Astroturf, propane fire pit and an in ground Charcoal grill.
- Front deck with great ocean views.
- Ample parking under the house and additional parking in concrete driveway and rear of home. We do have boat parking in rear of home located off Pelican Drive.
- XLarge storage area under home for you to store your beach gear.
- We do allow our guests to use all of our beach gear on property, i.e. chairs, tents, umbrellas, 2 fat tire beach bikes.
- 2 six speed Fat Tire Beach Bicycles
- Creamsicle (you'll know where she got her name when you see her) - 4 passenger Golf Cart to drive to the beach, public golf cart parking at beach entrance steps from our home or use the cart to tool around town! You must sign our User Agreement in order to have access to the golf cart. Our golf cart has a parking permit for 2023. Guests will not be subject to parking citations when parking the golf cart in paid parking areas as our vehicle is covered under a prepaid Town Parking Permit which is available exclusively for Town residents & property owners, and allow for parking in specially marked Town Parking spaces, as well as regular Paid Parking spaces.
- Full sized Washer and Dryer on property
- Brand new in ground charcoal grill located near our outdoor Tiki Hut! That's right! A Tiki Hut with and enhanced outdoor recreation area is located by our private pool.
- Pool furniture in provided. Pool size approximately 27’ x 13’ with 4’ - 6’ depth.
- Board games for indoors and outdoor recreation games are provided; pool basketball, horseshoes, ring toss, ladder toss…. Etc.
- Fire pit located by pool, propane is provided.
- We are pet friendly. However we will allow no more than two dogs. No size restriction. No exceptions. We get many requests to allow more than two dogs. We have made exceptions in the past and two has turned into four and even five. Therefore, we can no longer make exceptions at all. One or two dogs. It is a house rule we are no longer willing to bend on. Respecting this house rule will allow us to continue to be pet friendly going forward. We appreciate your understanding. We do provide pet waste elimination bags in a dispenser under our home. A pet walking area is located in front of our home. Sofa pet covers are provided. You must bring your own pet bed and crate if applicable. A non refundable pet fee is required if you choose to bring your fur baby along.

TOWN PAID PARKING INFO:
The Town of Oak Island offers more public access locations, and beach area parking than any other island community in the Carolinas! The town's Paid Parking program is managed by a contracted vendor, Otto Connect. Paid Parking is new and will roll out beginning April 1st, 2023.
Paid Parking on Oak Island is enforced from April 1 - September 30, between the hours of 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and is NOT CHARGED during all other times and days of the year, or during special events in areas surrounding the Middleton Park Complex. Parking in unmarked spaces, or on the public right-of-way (street side) in the beachfront areas is PROHIBITED during the paid parking enforcement times.

Our golf cart has a paid parking permit for 2023. Our golf cart is covered under a prepaid Town Parking Permit which is available exclusively for Town residents & property owners, and allow for parking in specially marked Town Parking spaces, as well as regular Paid Parking spaces.

You do not need a parking permit to park your vehicle on our property or any other private property, i.e. grocery stores, restaurants, etc.

Beautiful oceanside home
Me and my family had a great time during our stay. Angela is very quick to respond to any questions, the house was very clean, there was many activities for all ages to enjoy! The golf cart access was a huge plus even though the beach is a 2 minute walk.

Amazing Stay
We were in town for Pledge the Pink.. a breast cancer fundraiser! 3 walkers and two spouses who tagged along for support. Angela was a fantastic host and communicated with us very well prior and throughout our stay. The house was exactly as pictured and very well stocked with everything we needed! The attention to detail was better than any other home we’ve rented in the past! Outdoor areas were amazing… and the Creamsicle golf cart was icing on the cake for getting around! Our group absolutely loved Chick-Inn of the Sea and will hopefully be back!

Will rent again! Wonderful stay!
This home and the property managers were wonderful!! Excellent location, exceptionally clean, and the hosts truly thought of everything with the house being stocked! The pool, golf cart, and games at the house were used daily. My family and I have rented a beach house almost every year for the last 25 years and we never had a place that was so clean with all the amenities you could think of. OKI does charge for parking everywhere (and be sure to pay it because the ticket is $75 if you don’t!) but the golf cart with the house is covered so you don’t have to pay to park anywhere you drive the golf cart which was so clutch! Very thankful for the wonderful experience and memories at the Chick!

Amazing!
This was my first time renting a house at the beach, so I was a little nervous about what we would find when we got there. Wow, what we found was amazing! First off the process was so easy. Angela was so accommodating and so pleasant to work with. The house was beautiful and fully equipped with everything we needed. The house was just a short walk to the beach and the golf cart sure came in handy to carry all the beach stuff ( a lot furnished by the owners). I would definitely come back Chick Inn of the Sea and Oak Island! Thanks Angela and Sascha!

I work hard to set our properties above the rest and offer only well appointed properties. I spend a significant amount of time reading others' bad reviews and I pay close attention to what is important to our potential guests. Therefore, I feel confident that your experience will keep you coming back to us again and again!

My husband and I spent most of our careers living and working in Charlotte, NC. We moved to a more rural setting outside of Charlotte once we began winding down a bit. We have a shared love of all animals and rescuing which is how we ended up with a chicken farm and many furry family members! Chick Inn of the Sea got its name because it is not uncommon to see me walking a chicken and a bird dog on the beach. You won't find a live chicken on property. However, you will find a few photos on property of a couple of birds that travel with us from time to time.

I pride myself on being responsive at all times. Each and every one of our guests get my personal cell phone number. I answer 24/7 and I take action when needed. There's no question or need too big or small. If it is important to you, it is important to me. I was raised to treat people the way I want to be treated. I was trained to give each guest the individual experience they are looking for. I think you'll find my husband and I are the perfect hosts to be as hands on or off as you like.

We are brand new construction by a reputable local builder who knows the island and what is important to vacationers. You'll find spacious, open living all on one floor with brand new furnishings throughout. Both owner suites offer en suite bathrooms featuring gorgeous, crisp walk in tiled showers. Two additional bedrooms with a shared bath offer plenty of room for everyone. You will enjoy ocean views and sounds from your covered front deck or the backyard view from your screened in back porch. Outdoor living and entertaining is made easy and breezy with our fully enclosed in ground pool, tiki hut and enhanced recreational area perfect for outdoor frivolity. We have a 300 square foot storage area providing access to all of our beach equipment including beach bikes with plenty of room to store your belongings. Wash the sand off using our fully enclosed outdoor shower only steps from the beach! Golf cart parking is located steps away at the beach access point. You don't even have to waste your money renting a cart. We provide Creamsicle, our brand new four person golf cart!
