Fully furnished historic Craftsman bungalow available for short-term rental for the winter season. Available from November 20 through the end of February or March (end date somewhat flexible). Start date of your stay must be on or before December 1; end date can be anywhere between Jan 31 and March 31 (a longer stay is preferred). Not available beyond March 31.
Great space for a remote working getaway - there's ample space for two people to work from home comfortably in separate rooms.
The house was built in 1900 and has tons of old-world charm! It features a spacious, sunny (south-facing) living room, a large and well-stocked kitchen, and a formal dining room.
Two bedrooms - one with a very comfy queen-size bed and walk-in closet, and one set up as a home office with a large desk and loveseat. Please note that although this is a two-bedroom house, it has only one bed and therefore is suitable to accommodate a couple or an individual, but not two roommates needing separate rooms. There is also a folding twin-size guest bed available.
Two bathrooms - one with clawfoot tub/shower, the other with a large jetted tub. Laundry room with washer/dryer.
The house has an enormous, private south-facing front porch with seating, and a large backyard with a deck and covered patio area (backyard is shared with the tenant of the detached rear in-law unit).
Easy, unrestricted street parking available for one vehicle, directly in front of the house. No off-street parking available.
Location: Liberty Wells is a fabulous, eclectic early 20th century neighborhood that is close to downtown Salt Lake City. There's a really great coffee shop called Alchemy about 3 blocks away. Liberty Park, the largest park in the central city area, is about a 10-15 minute walk away. While the immediate neighborhood is residential, there are a number of good restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk.
No pets allowed, sorry.
