Newly renovated year-round Lake front home. Last house on private dead end road . Semi fenced huge yard. Very quiet and virtually no traffic for children and pet safety. Dock is in if you have a boat, and ready too enjoy a glass of wine sitting at the bench watching a sunset !! Lamoka is one of the shallower lakes so gets warm quick .In the middle of decorating and furnishing kitchen and porch necessities . Open floor plan with cathedral ceilings. With large area for parking. Right in the center of Seneca and Keuka Lake breweries and wineries. Huge open level lawn with 90' of lake shore. 2 sun loungers.Provided -Cornhole set , croquet set , paddle boat,4 kayaks , 1 paddleboard. Soft soccer ball, soft football, frisbee, whiffle ball set .(Water shoes recommended for swimming ) 9 Assorted sizes of life jackets provided. The front entry has a nice size covered porch, which wraps around to a huge, covered porch that faces the lake. The other set of stairs leads to the lakefront where you can enjoy the firepit. (Firewood provided) Take in the sunset from the eastern shoreline from either the firepit or giant covered porch. Lots of cooking spices, sugar, flour, olive oil, cooking utensils, pots and pans , food storage containers, Kitchen towels, potholders, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry and dishwasher soap. You will be responsible for purchasing for your party needs as needed. Keurig and drip coffee maker with filters , electric Tea pot and stove tea pot . A good assorted start of coffee, coco, and tea pods , with assortment of teas . If you keep your eyes to the sky, you will probly see the local Eagles and Ospreys!!!! Dishwasher, Washer / Dryer, Hair dryer in each bathroom, Ironing board with iron. Plenty of towels and wash clothes for each person. 2 sets of linens for each bed. sheets and towels cleaned at 160 deg. High touch areas cleaned with disinfectant. Things to do in close proximity. Watkins Glen International racetrack, Watkins glen state park, Famous watkins glen gorge . 15 minutes away. Miles of State hiking trails, Numerous waterfalls in Montour Falls, Hector 15 minutes away. Corning Museum of Glass 30 minutes. Glen Curtiss Museum 15 minutes away. 15 minutes to 2 large grocery stores and a dollar general 2 miles away if you've forgotten any basic needs...

We had a wonderful stay at Eagles Cove. The property is incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. We enjoyed evenings on the deck watching the sun set over the lake. Great communication with the hosts. Everything was perfect!

I returned this year to this property since I had such an amazing time last year and the property once again did not disappoint. Same high standards of cleanliness, amenities, and communication with owner. This may be an annual trip for me!

FANTASTIC PLACE!!

This place was the best we have ever rented from with VRBO to say the least!! The location was spectacular and the house was very, very clean. Russ and Liz were more then prepared for ANYTHING we may have needed during our stay. Love everything about it, will be back for sure!! Also, love all the goodies they left for us as well.

Amazing Lamoka Lakehouse

I can’t say enough nice things about this property. The owners went above and beyond to make this week long rental house our home. Eagle’s Cove is the cleanest and nicest place we have ever stayed. They thought of everything and we truly appreciated every detail. The hosts have been very accommodating and are the nicest people. We will definitely be coming back.

Perfect place in a perfect spot

Lovely cottage (all renovated) on a perfect spot on Lamoka Lake. Beautifully decorated with everything provided (including toiletries you may have forgotten!), and a welcome basket full of amazing treats to enjoy. Kayaks and paddleboard were so much fun. Huge deck with lights to enjoy at night. Fire pit to enjoy the smores supplies they provided. Lovely area to explore. Highly recommend.

Amazing!

It was over the top for just about everything. Could not believe the prepared ness and forethought that went into stocking the house with just about everything you could imagine and then some. The house and the lake were beautiful. Can't say enough good things about the place. Would absolutely recommend it.

Great family getaway

Great property. Owners took the extra time to make sure it was clean and comfortable. My kids had a great time using the kayaks and playing table tennis. We had family tournaments every night. The lake was a little shallow and full of seaweeds, but we used the pool at Watkins Glen State park and still enjoyed all the other water activities that were available right at the house. We also tried swimming at Lake Keuka Depot Park. We had a great time and would recommend this house rental to anyone!

Immaculate well-appointed property

This was hands down the cleanest, best-equipped rental I have ever stayed at. The owners have put a great deal of effort into making sure anything you could ever need during your stay is supplied. Stayed at the end of September and it was a pleasantly quiet area. Lots of recommendations provided by the owners for things to do in the area as well. I would not have wanted to swim in the water right at the house because of the grasses and lilypads, but it was a great lake for kayaking and paddleboarding. Owners were extremely responsive and great to communicate with. Will definitely return!

So you wanna relax - 5 Stars – A Peaceful Retreat at Eagles Cove

Our stay at Eagles Cove on Lamoka Lake was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we pulled in, we knew we’d found a special place. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and incredibly well-equipped—everything from the kitchen essentials to the little touches that made us feel right at home.The views of the lake were stunning, especially at sunset. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the deck, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere and listening to the birds. Days were filled with kayaking, fishing, and simply relaxing by the water. At night, we gathered around the firepit under the stars (well we believe they were there behind the clouds)—it was the perfect way to unwind.Eagles Cove felt like a true retreat, tucked away enough for quiet and privacy, but still close to local spots if we needed anything. The hosts were fantastic—kind, responsive, and clearly thoughtful about creating a welcoming space.If you’re looking for a relaxing escape with beautiful lakefront views and all the comforts of home, Eagles Cove is it. We’re already dreaming about our next visit

Great Week on Lamoka Lake

This lake home is outstanding. The accommodations included everything we needed and more. Everything was spotless and looked new. We enjoyed the views of the setting sun from the large deck. The included kayaks and paddle board were like new and provided us with hours of fun on the lake. The location is within minutes of many of the Finger Lake area restaurants and attractions. The proprietor was very helpful and quickly responded to any questions we had and advice for restaurants, etc. We would highly recommend this home and would consider this as our first choice if we visit the Finger Lakes region again.

Nothing but good things to say

I was attracted to this listing due to the location (waterfront + close to so many finger lake attractions) and all of the water craft that were offered by the owner for our use. It looked really good in the listing so I had high expectations, and even still, it far exceeded our expectations! Everything was sparkling clean when we arrived. The house was stocked with the best of everything... from the appliances, to the towels/linens, the mattresses, the kitchen items, sharp knives, quality soap/shampoo, the porch, the dock, fishing supplies, games, and and and. Even the ice cube trays were great! When people say "details matter", it's true. Every little detail was perfect. The host, Russ, was very responsive and helpful. He knew we were interested in fishing, so he left us all we needed to have a successful fishing experience (and yes, we caught fish right off the dock!). I could go on and on. I have nothing but good things to say.

Great stay on the lake!

This property was perfect for our family stay! We are a family of 4 with 17 and 21 year old sons. The house was beautifully decorated and it seems like everything is new! It truly had anything you could need- kitchen spices, paper towels, foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, etc. It is so nice to be able to go to a rental and not have to buy the little things. On top of that, any kind of toiletry you may have forgotten at home. The house was very clean with extra sheets and towels if needed- including plenty of beach towels. A nice feature that you don't think about- black out curtains kept the bedrooms dark. There are some indoor games to play as well as lawn games including corn hole and a set to turn the deck table into ping pong. We brought a jon boat and it was really nice to be able to dock it right at the property with ease of access anytime we needed it. By comparison to the other properties, the yard seems large and having the wooded area on one side was nice for some seclusion. The dock also appears new and is very nicely done. A morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the bench was a favorite! Having the kayaks available to use was also very nice. The owner was extremely helpful and communication was perfect. He provided suggestions on where to launch the boat as well as area restaurants to try. The welcome basket with treats and gifts was much appreciated. Overall we had a lovely 4 night stay and would highly recommend this property.

Exceptional House for a Week at the Lake. Highly Recommended!

What an incredible property and host! We are a family of four with a 20-year-old and a 22-year-old, and everyone had an amazing time. There was plenty of space to relax and spend time together (and some time apart). A 20/10 experience. Over the years, we've rented many properties in the US and abroad, but this is the first time we've found a property so thoughtfully stocked. As other reviews have pointed out, the house is stocked with everything (from spices and condiments to coffee and creamers to cleaning supplies and supplies to make s'mores. The house was better stocked than mine. The house was spotless, and the WiFi was blazing fast, allowing everyone to stay connected (or disconnected) to their heart's content. What you see in the pictures is what you'll get. There are no pictures taken at cleverly placed angles to hide any flaws; the view is just as gorgeous as depicted, the grass is that green, and the sunsets are incredible. We've spent hours on that beautiful covered deck, just staring at the lake, and even more time near the shore by the campfire. I think my blood pressure went down substantially. The neighbors are all amazing and very respectful. There is no noise, no annoying music, and no cars; everyone keeps their voices down – just amazing peace and quiet. The location is great whether you want to stay put (as we did on some days) or go exploring the many vineyards nearby. Communication was excellent throughout. We would come back in a heartbeat.
