Time to ski and snow tube! Only a few miles to ski resort. Enjoy the hot tub!

Unfortunately, the deck is difficult to keep clean in the wintertime. We have all the fall leaves and then the snow. Housekeeping does their best to keep it blown off, but you could blow it off every day, and there would be leaves. You cannot pressure wash in the wintertime when it is below freezing and snowing. At no time did you mention anything during your stay regarding a musty smell in the basement. I cannot fix something that I do now know anything about. I could have had maintenance come and check for you, if needed, even gotten a dehumidifier for you. Not sure where you took the trash, but it should be around 15 minutes roundtrip, depending on traffic, which I have no control over. Thank you.

I am glad you found the home clean and well stocked. I am extremely sorry you felt the need to post your concerns in your review without giving us the opportunity to take care of your issue during your stay. Maintenance has been there and taken care of the showerhead, which could have easily happened during your stay, and you are not inconvenienced with having to use the downstairs bathroom. Also, new towels, sheets and comforters have been ordered. Again, another opportunity would have been to let us know during your stay and could have been taken care of. We cannot fix something we do not know about. As an owner we strive to maintain our 5-star 10/10 rating and unfortunately, guests would rather post about an issue/inconvenience without giving the owner the opportunity to correct during their stay. Thank you for your review. I am glad that everything inside was clean and well stocked. At no time during your stay did you reach out and mention that you did not feel there were enough towels. I can't fix something I do not know anything about. I would have had housekeeping provide additional towels, if needed. With the house being under the trees, the tables and decks can be wiped down every day, but with the pollen and leaves, it is almost impossible to do. With the garbage, unfortunately, not being in a neighborhood, you are up the mountain, one of the unfortunate inconveniences, is that you do not have garbage pick-up. You have to give up some of the conveniences for the beauty of the mountains. There are multiple drop of sites, that are provided in your welcome package to drive through. You cannot leave in a can on premises, due to the bears, elks an other wildlife and housekeeping drives a small car, and has multiple houses to clean with her supplies, and cannot accommodate taking the garbage with her, unfortunately. Sorry, for the inconvenience. Hoping that the views, the peacefulness and tranquility makes up for a small inconvenience to life.
