Nice stay

The house is well appointed (with everything you need for a home away from home) and close to the lake. The beds are super comfortable, and the owner was great to work with. If you are planning a trip to the area, this is a comfy and nice place to stay.

Stayed for MiniNats in Maggie Valley

Overall, our experience was great, and Kathy was very communicative and quite amenable! The only thing that I would have appreciated a heads up on was the fact that she has a permanent tenant in the basement. That said, we barely noticed that he was on the property at all. Check in and check out was super easy, and the area is relatively quiet. Heads up- make sure that you bring your own towels and linens unless you don't mind doing some laundry during your stay. All in all, I 10/10 recommend for a nice family getaway.

Great place to stay

This is a wonderful property with lots of room. The house was extremely clean and equipped with all the convivences to make your stay comfortable. Don't overlook this place if you're looking for a place around Lake Junaluska.

Very comfy and roomy spot to enjoy Lake Junaluska, Waynesville, with easy access to Great Smokey Mountains NP. Plenty of room for our group of 8. House well equipped and host very responsive.

Comfortable and convenient

We enjoyed our stay so much - the weather was a great break from the heat and humidity in Florida. The house is comfortable and convenient to all Lake J has to offer; downtown Waynesville is less than 15 minutes away.

Wonderful Get-Away for Christmas!

This home was charming, comfortable, and spacious enough for our 7 adults and 1 toddler. It was well equipped with everything needed for our family's Christmas gathering! We invited guests for dinner and there was space in the dining area to add a card table (we brought the table) so that 12 people could eat together. Kathy was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. Our toddler enjoyed the near-by playground and adults enjoyed the almost 3-mile walk around the Lake. Lake Junaluska is always a peaceful, beautiful place to visit regardless of the time of year. We would stay here again!

Quiet getaway

Wonderful home- great layout for teens and our toddler. Beautiful setting, friendly neighbors, cooking essentials were all there and plenty of seating to eating and visiting. Very responsive host!

This is a great location and stay if you're traveling to Lake Junaluska or surrounding area. The owner is a text or email away with any needs or questions, making sure her guests are taken care of. I can't say enough good things about this clean and spacious property.

Comfortable and Spacious Family Getaway

This was our second stay at this home and our seventh vacation at Lake Junaluska. We like the space, everyone has their own room and a connecting bathroom. The dog friendly policy allows my Dad to bring his traveling companion which is a huge consideration in getting our whole family together. The walking distance to Lake Junaluska is of course the biggest draw. I can't say enough about how much we all love Lake Junaluska. A truly special place for respite and renewal!!

Ideal Retreat

This house was the ideal retreat for us during our stay. We were attending a week-long event at the Event Center which was just a short distance away. The house had everything we needed; clean rooms, comfortable furniture, wi-fi, kitchen facilities, etc. Would love to come again next year but unfortunately it is already booked for our dates. I hope to return someday.

Great for stay to visit local sites

This was one of the best maintained places we have used. the owner was fantastic and very responsive. Great documentation, and information was spot on! It was a guys golf outing and we found good restaurants close by and some great golf!

Perfect

We traveled to Lake Junaluska for a conference and ordination. Kathy communicated well leading up to our check-in. She answered questions, provided thorough details, and responded quickly to communication both prior to and during our stay. This home is lovely and was a comfortable place to land for a week. Family Weekend

Our family spent the weekend in Maggie Valley . The house was warm and welcoming . We built a cozy fire one evening while playing games and drinking hot chocolate . The house was close to the main road in Maggie Valley , shopping, restaurants , tubing within minutes. Kathy’s communication and consideration went above and beyond . Maggie valley Ski spot

Excellent communication with Kathy, both before the trip to make sure we were aware that linens were not provided and at the end of the trip when we did a last minute request to have a later checkout time. The house was clean, well stocked for a weekend of cooking needs. The beds were all comfortable. The large table made for nice meals together and the living area was perfect for game time. Great neighborhood for a walk and close to Cataloochee for skiing.
