Welcome to the private guest house at Reedy Mill Pond, a peaceful oasis that offers an escape from everyday life. Our guest house is situated on the banks of a stunning 45-acre lake, established in 1812 and exclusively used for electric motor catch & release fishing. Fish from the dock or use our kayaks to fish where you may catch a variety of sport fish such as largemouth bass, northern pike, crappie & sunfish. Recently a record setting 11.4 lb largemouth bass was caught.

Our guest house is comfortable and an inviting retreat, perfect for couples or families! It features a cozy living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and spacious outdoor access! We offer complimentary KAYAKS, A CANOE & STAND UP PADDLE BOARDS (May through September). For sports enthusiasts, we have a range of facilities including OUTDOOR PICKLEBALL COURTS, BASKETBALL HOOP AND PROFESSIONAL BEACH VOLLEYBALL SAND COURT! If you are looking to explore nature at its finest, the Mattaponi River flows along the property and offers a perfect alternative spot for kayaking and fishing! We take great pride in providing our guests with a peaceful and relaxing retreat. Relax by the fire pit or read a book under the covered bridge. Guests have full access to the entire lake and property spanning over 90 Acres! Fishing, Swimming, Kayaking, Paddle Boarding, walking the trails, Pickleball, Basketball, Volleyball or soaking up the sun by the lake! We live in the main house on the property next to the guest house. We allow you to maintain privacy and enjoy everything our beautiful estate has to offer! We are here if you need us or not at all!

We are located close to Kings Dominion & The Meadows Event Center. The estate is tucked away among nature and ample parking is available. We welcome up to 2 pets but require a pet(s) to never be left unattended inside or outside of the home. Maximum number of guests is 7 at anytime.  Guests may bring 1 boat, electric motor use only.  All persons under the age of 18 must wear a life preserver in and around the water to ensure safety. Water shoes are recommended in and around the water. We have sharp rocks and grasses that could cause harm.  The fireplace is not for use by guests.
