Our home includes EVERYTHING YOU NEED to enjoy your family vacation at the beach. We provide a fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc), a dining table, and in-unit laundry.

This unit is located on the top floor of a duplex building. The lower unit is also for rent if you require additional bedrooms.

HOME LOCATION

Located just minutes from the Balboa Pier and just a quick walk to the Fun Zone, & Balboa Island Ferry you are never far from the Action. Directly out in front of the Home is the beach where you will find Volleyball Courts, fire pits, and the occasional flag football/ultimate frisbee tournament just off to the Right.

From our home, you can safely walk or ride bikes anywhere on the peninsula, Balboa Island, or down to Huntington Beach (45-minute ride 1 way) along the oceanfront boardwalk. However, with more than 30+ restaurants & bars, shops, electric boat/jet ski rentals, and Surfboard/paddleboard lessons all within a 2-15 minute walk, you will never need to travel far.

For those of you seeking a Daytime adventure, the Catalina Express, Whale Watching Tours, and Sailing Adventures all depart from the docks across the Street. For those of you with kids, the Balboa Fun Zone is also just across the street making this home an ideal location for families. For those of you with the itch to shop, we recommend hopping on the ferry to Balboa Island. If you can't find what you are looking for, the world-famous Shops at Fashion Island has it all located just a 5-minute taxi ride from the Island.

Construction Notice: Adjacent construction May 2025 - May 2026. The City of Newport Beach allows construction to take place between 7:00 a.m. & 4:30 p.m. on weekdays with no weekend (Sat/Sun) or holiday work permitted. Rental rates have been reduced to compensate for any inconvenience.

Minimum Age Requirement:
Primary Guests must be 25+ years old.

Great Location and Warm Stay

This location was fantastic taking kids to Disney and enjoying the beach. Food was easily walkable and it's a great neighborhood.

Great location! Very clean, well-stocked!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was great - biked and walked to beach, restaurants and shops. The apartment was a perfect place to relax with our adult kids. All of the supplies we needed were on hand. And communication with the host was great. Would definitely stay again!

Great Little Weekend Stay

We had the best time at this super cute place. Walking distance to the beach was key as well as some fun things close by. Great job on the remodel, very clean & beautiful decor. Great communication with property manager as well. Thank you!

Beautiful, great location, large groups

The interior is so beautifully designed. The colors and setup of the apartment is just great! Our only suggestion is to give more love to the outside. The building needs painting, cleaning and updating.

Missing information

The instructions for arrival and check-in were completely wrong. There were instructions to use a lockbox to gain a key. However, there was no key necessary. The instructions on how to get to the front door were confusing. The parking instructions were also confusing.Once at the front door, the key did not work. There was a code box but no instructions on how to use a code to get in. We had to call the office, but while we waited for the office to call us back, we just started entering codes and found out that the code was the same as the lock box. It was frustrating to not have the instructions correct The other issue with this property was that it did not come with a warning of construction happening right next-door. The construction was very loud from early in the morning till evening and strangers could see directly into the house the entire time this made it very uncomfortable to use showers And just enjoy breakfastThere should have been a warning that if you chose this property, you would have to deal with construction the construction workers took up many parking spots on the street and sometimes made it difficult to get out of the garageThis property would have been great if we would have been given the warnings

Quick Family Trip

My husband and I brought my parents and our teen children here for a quick getaway. The location is great, the beach is just a short walk behind the house and one of the rooms has a nice view of it. The weather was slightly chilly but we enjoyed one afternoon at the beach and saw so many dolphins! We took a nice walk East one day and admired the gorgeous multi- million dollar beach homes. If you walk the other direction you are very close to the shops which include a cute candy store, yummy ice cream place and the normal beach town shops. The house is about a 15 minute drive to Fashion Island, which has many options but we always love to get great Mexican food at Red O. The house was clean. Don't be alarmed when walking up old, musty stairs of building. Once you open the door to the property, everything gets much better! There are 2 main bedrooms, which worked perfectly for our group. Each had plenty of room and their own bathroom. And then the kids had their own bathroom as well, so we were all happy. We had a slight issue because the Keurig coffee pot needed cleaned and I couldn't find an easy way to contact the managers. That could be on me, I'm not super tech savvy. So we remedied it by walking to a very close and cute coffee shop every morning, and all was well. I did email the managers about the coffee and my guess would be that it is now fixed. Everything else was in good working order.
