Relaxing time on the lake

The house is beautiful and inviting. There are amazing views of the lake from every room. Great place for fishing, enjoying nature and relaxing. Yolande is a pleasure to work with and we’re looking forward to returning in the future!

Recent Lakefront Rental

Agent/owner very easy to work with. Timely responses to any questions and excellent feedback on the area, restaurants etc. Beautiful, large and shaded backyard on a quiet lake was enjoyed by all, including our 2 Dobermans!

Christmas vacation

We had so much fun staying here for Christmas. This house was more than big enough for the three of us. It had a very spacious living room and dining area which were both great for opening presents and making Christmas dinner. The jacuzzi was our favorite part of the house and we used it every day. There is also an amazing view from the back yard overlooking the lake so you get to see awesome sunsets. The neighborhood is a little secluded so you’re surrounded by wildlife. We saw a bobcat on our last day, a rabbit, and lots of hawks. We were all so excited. As far as sleeping arrangements, this house can’t be beat. I think we counted 8 beds. There are also 3 bathrooms so we never had to share. This was our first time ever using VRBO and we had constant contact with our host. She was so friendly and accommodating. She even met us at check in time to give us a tour. I gave this house an overall 4 but wish it could have been a 4.5. The only thing we didn’t like was the smell of the water. It did not stop us from having a great time. We bought 3 cases of bottled water at a nearby Publix and used that for cooking, washing dishes, and brushing our teeth. The water smell was new for us so I’m not saying it’s a negative thing. It was just something we never experienced before. We would absolutely stay here again and would 100% recommend it to everybody.

Spacious home

Plenty of room to relax and enjoy family. Awesome hot tub, wonderful screened patio with sliding doors to have open on cool days! Fenced yard for pets, gorgeous sunsets. We had a wonderful stay!!

Comfortable and Cozy

While our stay in Lake Placid wasn’t a preplanned vacation, we enjoyed the house and the cute town. We evacuated to Lake Placid to get further from the West Coast during Hurricane Milton. The host was accommodating when we decided to evacuate earlier. The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable for our family of 5, dogs and in-laws. There were lots of comfortable beds, closet space, blankets, pillows, big TVs and lots of room to relax. We ended up with 9 people the night of the storm and everyone was as comfortable as you can be during that situation. The days leading up to the storm were better when we got to enjoy the house more, go outside by the dock and go into town for breakfast. I highly recommend this house for comfort and a peaceful getaway under different weather circumstances. The lake is beautiful. The town is quaint and the house is comfortable and great for a big group of various ages.

Serenity Lake

We loved our stay at this property. Spacious and accomodating with plenty of room for large families, if needed. Yolanda made everything easy and was in touch prior to our arrival and was available after we settled in, if needed. The communication was excellent. The lake was beautiful to look out at and forget about everything that we left behind for those few days. We enjoyed seeing the turtles and a baby crocodile among the various birds we spotted. Sunset was beautiful with colors of pink and orange. Publix supermarket is close by for any food and snacks you may need. A very relaxing stay!

Anniversary getaway

Absolutely beautiful home. Everything was clean and well appointed. We would strongly recommend this property. The host was very responsive when a question came up. She even texted us additional recommendations for local spots to shop and eat.

12 Hours of Sebring

We had a group of people stay here for the IMSA 12 Hours of Sebring. This location was exactly what we were looking for and have no complaints. I highly recommend!

Weekend kayaking trip

The house and the host were terrific. Everything was exactly as advertised. No misleading information. We were a group of friends who visited the area to go kayaking over the weekend. One day we launched from right behind the house and paddled on the lakes and canals in the neighborhood. The second day we paddled on a nearby river that was spectacular. The host Yolande was professional and very responsive.

Not quite what we hoped

More dated than we thought. Had to wash utensils and pans before use. Finicky hot tub. No real TV channels for sports. No coffee Nice location on lake. Quite a distance to town for supplies

Peace and Tranquility

This place was exactly what we were looking for. A place to just get away from the city and get some much needed rest and relaxation. The home home itself was cozy, rooms were spacious. The cabana bath which provided quick access from backdoor enclosed patio was super convenient to was off after taking a dip in the jacuzzi. This lake is connected to two other lakes by canals which is a plus if you decide to rent a pontoon boat for fishing or just decide to do some "lake hopping," A few locals recommended to rent a pontoon boat from a company called: Lake June's Pontoons. They even deliver the boat right to your dock. Price is about $280 for 4 hours, but check pricing just incase it changes. The main city of Lake Placid is just 10 minutes away..

Better than I expected

This house was breath taking. As soon as you walk in the first view is of the lake. It was a cool day so there was a wonderful breeze. The pictures didn't do this place justice. This house was calming fresh and clean. We spent our days fishing and talking by the water. At night we sat around the fire pit and in the hot tub. The hot tub os strategically placed inside the screened in patio, to soak without having to deal with Florida bugs. We had an amazing time, this house is just what we needed to relax all weekend.
