We are delighted that you are interested in our lakefront home, just bring your clothes, toothbrush and enjoy! We offer a lakefront home on Lake June with a dock of which you can bring your boat/jet ski or rent in town (boat lift is not available for use but we do have pilings that you can secure your vessel to which is adjacent to the dock, and we do have a floating jet ski dock for your use). There is a Community Park/Boat ramp 4 minutes to the east of the house where you can lodge your boat/jet ski in the lake and tie up at our pilings. The Community Park/Boat Ramp also has two basketball courts, and we have a basketball in the Cottage Shed for your use.
You can enjoy your day boating, fishing, tubing, swimming, water skiing, kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, building sand castles or you may enjoy a family puzzle, reading a magazine or just soaking up some sun. We have family entertainment which includes internet, TV's, cable, exercise equipment, the game room is equipped with a ping pong table, foosball table, magnetic dart board, nok hockey and a game table to play poker or your favorite card game, dominoes and board games. There is a tether ball, (2) corn holes, the Cottage Shed has additional outdoor chairs, umbrellas, floats, sand toys for the little ones, football, soccer & volleyball, basketball, frisbees, badminton and more!
Enjoy an evening in the hot tub on the large screened in porch watching your favorite TV show or roasting marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit, or perhaps just relaxing on the dock swing enjoying the view and turtles that come to visit.
The home accommodates a maximum of 10 persons/guests at all times! (If there are additional guests there is a $40.00 pp per day fee and any guests over 12 persons they will be asked to leave). The house is fully furnished with 4 bedrooms/3 baths with a comfortable living room and large kitchen/dining area to accommodate your family needs. The kitchen is fully equipped, has a large breakfast counter with a granite top, stainless steel appliances, with a large country dining table that accommodates 8 with 4 bar stools at the kitchen island. The screened in back porch has a hot tub, large outdoor dining table, three lounge chairs, TV and gas BBQ grill. The dock has a swing for picturesque sunset evenings, picnic table for your meals, a Hook and Ring Toss game and a swing rope for the young at heart! We do have hammocks hooks at the boat house/dock so if you have a hammock, you are welcome to bring it and enjoy the day. We have 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks and a long canoe with paddles! There are local golf courses within the area, two Wineries, Highlands Hammock State Park, Sebring Racetrack, Solomon's Castle, Florida theme parks (Disney, Universal Studios and LegoLand), Gulf of Mexico Beaches (Florida West Coast) are all within 90 minutes or less driving.
Please note that we have a strict no pet policy, we love pets but for various reasons (family allergies and guests) we cannot allow pets within the home.
We have the best of both views during the fall and winter months, you can enjoy the gorgeous sunrise to the left and enjoy the beautiful sunsets to the right. The rest of the year you can still enjoy the sunrise but to see the sunset, all of the locals take their vessels out to the center of the lake to enjoy the sunset.
Lake June has access to three other lakes via cannels for your enjoyment.
