Good stay

Overall it was a good stay close to everything that you wanted to be close to check in and out was easy being my first time renting . House was clean,lots of towels,lacking some pots and pans can opener.i would stay there again good locationlocation

Worst stay ever!

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at various properties at Storey Lake, but this property has been the worst by far. After five years of enjoyable stays elsewhere, I was disappointed to find that this listing, which claims to be new, is far from it. Upon my late arrival, I was met with stained sheets, greasy countertops, unswept floors, and filth. The bathroom was particularly unacceptable, featuring a dingy shower liner, curtain and toilet seats that need replaced. This property made me feel uncomfortable and unclean. It was clear that the property needed a thorough deep clean and some serious TLC.I had to spend a significant amount of time cleaning upon my arrival, including sweeping, vacuuming, washing sheets, and wiping down surfaces. The next day, I even went to Walmart to buy a new shower liner because I simply couldn’t use the existing one.I attempted to address my concerns with the property owner, but unfortunately, they were unhelpful and dismissive. After my request for a refund on the cleaning fee was ignored, I will be reaching out to VRBO directly for assistance.There are plenty of other places to stay that offer a much better experience. I do not recommend this property at all. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere!

Says “New” in the title. Far from it.

This place is advertised as NEW. The place is poorly taken care of and not clean. Dirty dishes in cabinets, floors dirty, marks and grime on walls, mold in bathroom, tvs non operational, pool area has dirt and mold all around it. Contacted owner and they didn’t seem to care. Bed was broke upon arrival, they did fix that. Cheap / very used furniture. Not the same as in the picture. Needs a deep cleaning. Kids bedroom is cute. But they advertise a separate bed and bunks. Not the case. Have stayed at Storey Lake in the past and loved it. Not so much at this condo.

Family Spring Break w/ Family - GREAT TIME!

The property is perfectly located - we headed north for kayaking, east for the ocean and 15 minutes from Disney. Also, Wal-Mart and Starbucks were very close too. Great place to stay to cook meals in if you choose, plenty of places to sleep and lots of bathrooms for the 6 of us to take showers, etc. Stayed with two 18 year olds, two 22 y/o and two 49 y/o. A little marked up/beat up from past visitors and cleanliness was pretty good but seemed it could be a bit more tidy with a little effort. What I mean by beat up - outlet covers were cracked, toilet handle was cracked, TV didn't work in one bedroom, walls were scratched up, screen ripped in pool area, etc. but nothing major to us. Bought some Lysol wipes and cleaned up a bit. We stayed for 4 nights and purchased trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper and a few other essentials to make it through. The site does state they will only supply minimal of these items so it wasn't a surprise. TV did not work in bedroom at top of stairs but we had laptops so we used that for TV in that room to relax. Overall, I thought it was perfect for our needs even with the minor imperfections we encountered. Price seemed to be on the better side than other locations as well. Check in, out, etc. process was super easy - all via email and thru VRBO. Agent was very responsive and helpful. Definitely a place to stay and revisit!
