Great Beach Home

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. It had everything as listed. Check in and out was a breeze. I received communications before and during our stay to keep us completely informed. I would highly recommend.

The property had a great view of the ocean from the roof top. The beach access is about a mile down the road. The house was clean and ready upon arrival. On the 1st night of our stay we had to put a maintenance request in due to the door that leads to the roof top was not closing appropriately and was letting the rain come inside the house. They responded quickly and took care of it. The garage had a ping pong table so that was cool feature. I gave the property a 4 star due to inconvenience. The access to the 1st floor room was a bit difficult. The digital key fobs for both doors on the bottom level were not working with any of the codes given and had to use the elevator to gain access. It made it difficult for my parents who are older to have to use the stairs to go to the second floor to then have to use the elevator to get to the 1st floor where they were staying. Overall my family and I had a great time staying there and creating wonderful memories. We will definitely be coming back soon to visit Port Aransas.

Family Gathering

The VRBO listing stated the property had 7 bedrooms.....what it ACTUALLY was 4 bedrooms and 7 beds! So that was VERY misleading and we had to make other arrangements for additional family members. The air conditioning upstairs was not working properly, none of the wall plugs on the second floor worked and the downstairs bedroom air went out, but the maintenance people were there very quickly and got everything fixed! Not trying to focus on negative, the property was beautiful and we had a wonderful time! I would just recommend the listing be changed to show the accuracy of the bedrooms..

Great location!

Gorgeous house! The elevator is a bonus. One thing to note, 3 of the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor while the 4th bedroom is on attached to the garage on 1st floor and only reachable by elevator or outside stairs. It worked fine for our party because we had older teenagers/young adults staying in that room. If you are using that room for teens/young adults, it is absolutely perfect! Has it's own kitchenette, access to patio, and right next to garage where game room is located. The views from this home are spectacular!! The water pressure in all the showers was subpar. Nothing we felt that could be reported, pressure is pressure. Kitchen had everything we needed, plenty of knives, mixing bowls, pots, pans, plates, silverware. The golf cart that came with the property was a bonus! Thank you for providing such a beautiful property.

The house is nice, but when we arrived we only had 4 towels. I had to make a fast trip over to Silversands office to get towels, since they did not offer to deliver any. The house has mice, maybe even sightings of rats in the kitchen. The girls went crazy, so we ate out mostly.

Great vacation house for a large group

We had a great time at the house. It was spacious, clean, a/c worked really well and the location is great. Close to everything with the golf cart. The only thing is it could be stocked a little better. There wasn't any extra trash bags, only 1 roll of extra toilet paper, no salt/pepper etc and the kuerig didn't work well. It brewed watered down coffee. There was a regular pot brewer so all was well there. Ping pong was a really nice bonus. We had a pretty competitive ping pong tournament 😄. I would bring a fan when we come next time, to keep the garage cooler while playing.

There was dirty underwear left on master bedroom floor

Check in was a little frustrating but not a big deal at all. They needed proof of insurance and first person gave me one contact to send it but it didn't work. Several different calls and several phone numbers and finally went though. The bad.....Upon check in we looked around briefly but basically put our stuff down and went to dinner. When we came back we all took showers an went to sleep. The next day when my husband was getting dressed he mentioned that i left my underwear on the floor and when i asked what underwear from the bathroom he proceeded to pick up someone else's dirty underwear from whoever rented the house before us. I was pretty grossed out but gld my kids weren't the ones that picked it up. I called to let the Silver Sands property management company know and the girl was rude. her exact response was not I'm sorry but she took the route of basically insinuating that I was lying and looking for a discount. She told me to call housekeeping myself and that she would have a manager call me if I wanted. I asked if the manager would call me and they never did The house was nice and well stocked but I would never recommend SIlverSands if this is how they clean or treat customers

Great vacation home

Amazing location. We love Village Walk. Convenient to beach and restaurants. The management company is easy to work with. We rented an extra cart from Silver Sands rental and Katelynn was so helpful and kind. The house has a powerful AC so bring a blanket for bedtime.

Beautiful home!

This home was in a great location and well equipped with kitchen items and beach toys. We had a few issues with check-in (particularly with a disrespectful employee), but eventually got it all worked out. The elevator is more European sized, so my brother's electric wheelchair was challenging to get in. Add an individual to close the door and push buttons and it was very tight. The rooftop deck afforded incredible views. Very nice place, but if you don't utilize the elevator, you'll hike all groceries up to the third floor kitchen/living area using stairs.

Everything is right around the corner - with a view!

This is our second time to stay at this property. You are 5 minutes from everything tops. Easy to order and pickup from local restaurants. Easy to get your groceries at the Iga or get your beach pass from stripes. Easy to turn the corner and get on the beach for a day in the sun (just go early for a spot!) and easy to unwind in the 3 main bedrooms and one separate apartment with kitchenette. Only cons are fridge freezer is a little under powered so we lost some ice cream (fine let’s go to desserted island!) and make sure you set the 2nd floor temp to cool the 3rd floor or you’re gonna bake up there. But like they say if you’re at the beach it’s a good stay. And if you’re at this house, it’s a good stay ;)
