They allowed early Check in because property was already cleaned. The property is a corner unit with lots of space. Parking spot was close to unit. Balcony is on the side so it’s nice. Make this a stay when you visit

Clean condo with a nice balcony. Really liked that they had beach chairs and umbrella available to use, it was a nice touch and made things easier for us! Short walk to restaurants, beaches, and other points of interest!

The location of Sunny Maui Vacations Ohana was great and definitely recommendable. The hosts were reachable, responsive, and seemed organized throughout the stay, which we appreciated.However, the biggest issue for us was the cleanliness of the property. The place felt extremely dusty, sticky, and not properly cleaned, almost as if it had not been deep cleaned in a long time. This property would really benefit from a thorough deep cleaning.Another downside was the mattress comfort. It seemed quite old, possibly over a decade old, and had a foam topper added on top, which unfortunately did not make it very comfortable for sleeping.Overall, this stay could easily have been a 5/5 with better cleanliness and an improved mattress, because the location and host communication were otherwise very good.

The room was very good for the price, however the drain in the shower and bathroom sink was very slow and took awhile to drain. The decore is dated, but that’s just esthetics. The amenities were excellent! (Beach chairs, umbrellas & cooler. Other than that, we had everything we needed. Frontdesk ladies & Andrew were awesome, friendly & helpful. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Dirty and horrible bed

Let's start with the good. Communication with the host was easy. Having an access code to enter was efficient. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for cooking. That's it.When we walked in, the perfumed smell was overwhelming. I can get past that with opening windows. The kitchen widows were full of cobwebs and the ceiling full of insects in them. We knew there was no ac and had no issue as with fans and the cross breeze it was cool enough, but the fans were disgusting. There was so much built up dust on all of the fans that balls of dust were coming out of them. Dust bunnies hung from the light switches. The floor had a slippery film on it and we couldn't go barefoot. There was grime on the door handles and walls. I actually took a sponge and cleaned them myself. This place, bare minimum, needs a new paint job if it's not going to be cleaned properly. The worst part was the bed. It was advertised as a Queen bed, but when we arrived, it was a queen MURPHY bed. I would have never booked if I had known it was a murphy. And the mattress was so mushy and had a huge dip in the middle. We looked underneath and someone else had put rolled up towels under it to try to fix it. I ended up sleeping on the couch and my wife slept on the end of the murphy bed with her legs dangling off because it was the only part that didn't sink. We tent camp and that would have been better. Oh and we found roaches. It was so bad, we tried to change our flight to leave sooner but eveything was full.

Overall really great place to stay, easy check in, close to the beach, and a lot of attractions. Although the place can you a good deep cleaning, especially the fans and the washer/dryer. Parking was nice and under the shade. I would definitely replace 2 of the fans that do not work, esp since there is no air conditioning.

We are sorry the fans and washer and dryer needed more attention, and had we known during your stay, we would have gladly sent someone to address the fans right away.
