This affordable partial ocean view 1 bedroom and 1 bath condo is located in the beautiful South Maui town of Kihei. This well maintained property is nestled on 9 acres lush tropical gardens, offering a serene island retreat. The condo is 12 miles from the airport. This tropical furnished condo with fresh paint is located on the 3rd floor in building 2 has a living room/dining room, fully equipped kitchen and lanai. Come and sit on the lanai and watch the sunsets and whales. There is a new king size bed in the bedroom and a full size Murphy bed in the living-room. The condo can sleep 2 to 4 people. The condo has cable TV and wireless internet access. The condo has air conditioning units in the living room and bedroom. The condo comes with one free parking space and there is an elevator available in the building. There is a washer and dryer inside the condo. There are 3 in-ground pools, 6 tennis courts, 3 pickle ball courts and 3 gas BBQ areas, too. There are boogie boards, pickle ball rackets & balls and tennis rackets & balls, beach chairs, towels and an umbrella in the unit.

The condo is directly across the street from two very nice beaches Charlie Young / Kamaole One Beach. Kamaole Beach One is a nice long sandy beach with a lifeguard and plenty to do. Snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, boogie-boarding, body-surfing and paddle boarding are all available within a short walk 5 minute walk from the condo. Surfing at Cove Park is only one block away. There is shopping, restaurants, bars/night clubs and grocery stores all within 10 minute walk of the condo. There is also a public (Kalama) park less than 1 mile away with picnic picnic sand volleyball, tennis, basketball, baseball fields and a skate park, too. Wailea and world class golfing are about 3 miles away.

Great stay. Murphy bed was better than a pull out couch to sleep on and easier to just pull down. Well stocked kitchen with some spices, olive oil etc. Nice to have beach chairs, umbrella, tennis racquets etc A keyless door lock would be much better than using keys. Alan

Great stay

Stayed at the condo for a week. It was a nice place that worked well. Really liked that it is within walking distance to a lot, walk to surf at Cove Beach in the morning, walk to restaurants, walk to grocery stores, and of course to Charlie Young Beach.

Perfect place to stay!

From start to finish we loved our stay at this condo in Maui Vista. The owner was exceptional! His condo was clean, comfortable, and had a great view of the ocean from the lanai. Without a doubt I highly recommend staying here. It made our last week in Maui perfect!

Perfect stay in Paradise

We had a fantastic stay at Richard’s condo. It is exactly as listed, very clean and we so appreciated the extras. Having chairs, umbrella and a cooler was a real help as we enjoyed the local beaches - including the fabulous one just across the street. It is a great location to explore Maui and within walking distance of so much! Very clear instructions made it a breeze and we would definitely stay here again.

The condo location is excellent. Charly Young beach across the street and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Wonderful third floor view of the ocean and sunsets. Good to have all the kitchen amenities including beach chairs and umbrella. Rich response time to questions was excellent. If you are looking for condo without the hotel prices this is the condo for you. Mahalo.

We really liked staying at the property. It had all necessary things for beach rest like umbrella, chairs, water toys, also everything needed for cooking. Cookware needs upgrade though. I would prefer not to use scratched non-stick pans. The only thing that was uncomfortable is very old loud AC in the bedroom. It wasn’t possible to sleep while it’s on. We had to migrate to the living room because without AC it was too hot to sleep there.

Great location & had the basics

Overall, this place worked well for our trip. We swam in the small pool and played tennis with the racquets provided in the VRBO. It was loud at night over the weekend and the beds were not very comfortable. We had the basics and that worked for our trip. Location was great and we got up in the morning and went to a coffee shop down the road and then watched people learning to surf in the water while we ate out breakfast. Not much to complain about. It’s just hard nowadays with what we spend on a place to stay and what we are actually getting. Again, overall, we had what we needed. Would recommended if you’re not staying in much.

Book elsewhere, stinks and accuses guests.

We arrived at the property at 8pm and had to wait two hours for security to tell us the room number we were staying in. The manager didn’t send it till the day after we arrived. The room is a nice size but it reeked. If they cleaned it, they used the most appalling scent, we had to clean the bathroom and entry way because of the smell and bought Febreeze which we left at the property. We had to clean before we left also and do the maids job of doing laundry. Hours after we left the hosts sent us a message saying we overstayed and immediately charged us for an additional night. We called to discuss and he hung up after us saying we will not pay because we didn’t overstay and we went above and beyond to be good guests. The host then messaged us saying it was a miscommunication with his maid but we were already charged and offended. I will never recommend this host.

Access instructions including the unit number were sent by VRBO to the guests three days before the guest's arrival. I'm not sure why the guests didn't utilized the access instructions that were sent by VRBO. After I learned that the guests were having issues with their arrival, I emailed another copy of the access instructions as well as other information pertaining to the condo. My housecleaner thoroughly cleans and disinfects the condo after every stay. I'm sorry to hear the guests didn't like the scent. My housecleaner has been cleaning condos for over 25 years and has never received any complaints about the sent of the cleaning and disinfectant products used. However, I have passed this information on to her for consideration. The guest were not required to do the maids job but we do appreciate the guest's efforts to leave the condo clean and good order. There was a miscommunication with my housecleaner. She accidently went to the wrong condo and told me the guests were not checking out on the agreed upon departure date. I'm sorry the guests were offended but I tried calling, texting and emailing them several times, so I could find out what was happening. After I received no response from the guests, I sent a payment request for an additional night. The guests finally called me back at midnight and said they checked-out timely. After realizing my housecleaner's mistake, I apologized for the miscommunication and immediately removed the payment request for the additional night. The guest then thanked me for removing the payment request.

Great Time

This property suited our needs perfectly on a budget. We had 2 adults and 2 teenage girls. The murphy bed was much appreciated over a pull-out couch. The view from the lanai was great every morning while we had breakfast. We didn't use the tennis courts or pools but the barbeque access was nice. the location is 5 mins from Charlie Young Beach which has beautiful sunsets every night. Hi, I'm Rich and I'm a 57 year-old semi-retired accountant from California. I have a 25 year old son. We have been coming to Maui for fifteen years and we love it. I owned another condo for 12 years which I rented on VRBO.

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

I bought this condo because I love Kihei and I want to live there. Kihei with all it's beaches, activities, shopping and restaurants is a destination spot for sure but is not too touristy or pricey. The town has a 'local' feel to it but at the same time you can enjoy a variety of activities. Most locals are very nice, helpful and friendly. Since it's not too touristy, it's more affordable than other areas nearby.

I enjoy the short 3 minute walk to the beach. I like waking up and seeing the ocean from the kitchen and living room. I also enjoy the watching the beautiful Maui sunsets and whales (during whale season) from my lanai. I like being able to walk 10 minutes to the surf shop and rent a Surf Board, Paddle Board or Kayak and hit the water. I also like the fact that you can walk to the restaurants, bars, shops and the grocery store. No car is required in Kihei.
