Fourth floor condo in the "B" building view of tropical gardens and the ocean beyond. Quiet location features large private view deck and renovated interior. Doesn't get any better.

Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. 1 bedroom with private attached bathroom. 2nd bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. PLUS, large private view deck looking out towards ocean. Beach chairs, pool towels, full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer.
Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week!

General Info:
The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18-hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60-foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

We've stayed at Maui Sunset before so we're familiar with the complex. The green spaces are still impeccably maintained and the beach park is still a wonderful place to take a stroll or watch the sunset. The unit, B406, had a spectacular view, very comfortable mattress and decent Smart TV. Upon our evening arrival, the sofa was drenched as was the adjacent area rug. Housekeeping decided it needed cleaning right before our arrival. We had to scramble to cover with towels and a sheet. It took 2 days to dry.The kitchen had numerous challenges. The coffee maker was deeply rusted and corroded throughout the base. The toaster was rusted and coated in layers of grease. The permantly stained, shredded plastic cutting board was so unsuable that it was stored under the sink to be trashed. The washing machine was rusted throughout the interior and barely workable.The floors were coated with a heavy layer of dirt throughout. We were constantly washing our feet and ended up cleaning it ourselves.The mattress protector had numerous human stains as did pillows. Patio table required a major scrub on our part.The day after arrival, I did address some of these issues with a woman who appeared to be an onsite maintance manager. She said she would pass the info along but couldn't promise a response. We got none.

The condo was freshly painted the week prior to your arrival, deep cleaned and inspected. The sofa and area rugged was cleaned the day of your arrival but usually drys within a few hours. We did not learn of your concerns until this review, we do encourage guests to reach out so we can address any concerns. We note that the mid-stay cleaning was declined, this is typically when items can be addressed. That said, we take your comments seriously and have reviewed the unit with our housekeeping team to ensure our standards are met. We appreciate your feedback and do hope you give us another chance. No problem accommodate 4 people with out difficulty even can add one more with out any difficulty. Balcony was relaxing, even though this is not a oceanfront room but you will be able to see ocean from every balcony . Nice sunset view from B unit balcony. I amVisiting from Michigan and enjoyed tropical weather, nice landscaping and concierge service at swimming pool was very helpful to organize my Maui Tours and he even $25 discount.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: That was my first time visiting Maui and I didn’t regret with my stay . The property is pretty nice and clean , very quiet area and close to everything if you have a car . I don’t drive so Uber wasn’t a problem for me. There is also a bus stop right across the street. I came late after 5pm even though my check in process was very smooth . The property has a pool and a beach with a beautiful sunsets . Also BBQ place where you can make a dinner . The staff is very friendly and helpful . Overall I was satisfied with Maui Sunset. Only one thing i would change that is the storage for a luggage before the flight . Check out is 11am and I had 6pm flight couldn’t find a place around where I could leave my carry on bag . Other than that I’m happy and would come again when in Maui .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’m from California not WA so idk what happened there lol. Okay I traveled with 3 children with Autism (15,14,& 9 ). I’m a single parent and had zero help and I always Hawaii because of the simplicity and beauty. For example Safeway , Times and Foodland Market was my closest choices for store bought food until I remembered all late they also have target and Costco. McDonald’s was down he block with Jack n the box so if you have picky eaters remember google is your best friend and as long as it’s corporate America it’s always gonna be alright. As we travel please keep in mind that we are on native land and we must respect what God created so please recycle as you as on your trip. Did I mention it’s right off the beach . This hotel as a ridiculous about of amenities plates cookware beach chairs suntan lotion if you forget I mean it’s a whole closet dedicated to all kinds of stuff you or your family members may need. Parking was easy and safe the area is safe the hotel is safe to the point theirs chickens running around like it’s a TikTok challenge from chicken wars ( all the chickens are free range in Maui lol).
