The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Indulge yourself in this historical beauty of the early 1800s. Walk into a spacious open floor with original laid wood. Within a 2-3 minute walk from the historical famous Rittenhouse square, we are surrounded by restaurants, boutiques, and shops. We offer FREE PARKING only for one car.
Rittenhouse is one of the oldest, most prestigious areas in Philadelphia. Originally named Southwest Square, Rittenhouse Square was renamed after a famous Philadelphian astronomer and hosted some of the city’s most popular happenings all year round.
This home is Perfect for large groups of up to 12 guests or more!
The House includes:
4 Queen Beds, 2 Rollway Beds, one large sectional sofa bed, and one love sofa bed.


Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted within the apartment in any form. If it turns out that smoking was taking place in your flat during the time you were renting it, you will be charged $300 in penalties.

Minimum age:
The minimum age for guests listed on the reservation is 24. By making a reservation, you guarantee that you are at least 24 years old and that you are legally able and authorized to do so. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

Check-in / Check-out:
The check-in is at 4 pm and check-out is at 10 am respectively. Requests for early check-ins and late checkouts can be made up to one day in advance and are subject to availability.

Gatherings:
Although we know you are visiting Philadelphia to enjoy a good time, this property has a strict "No Party" policy that is out of consideration for the other renters and nearby residents; you will be staying in a quiet residential neighborhood. Parties are not tolerated and will incur a $500 fine plus eviction. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am.

I had a great day at Abby‘s home and Rittenhouse Square. The location is two blocks from one of the best parks in the city, the kitchen was well appointed, the beds, extremely comfortable, and the outdoor space was exactly like the pictures and provided a beautiful gathering spot for our family for morning coffee.I’m truly thankful for Abby and her team for making our stay in Philadelphia so special!

Charming House in a Great Location

This was a perfect place for our family to stay for our son's college graduation. Charming 3 story walk up with plenty of space for our family of 6 to spend time together. The location is also very nice - pretty street within walking distance of plenty of restaurants. We will recommend this to other families.

This was a great location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The place was beautiful and had charm. The main downside was that there wasn’t air conditioning throughout the apartment which we didn’t expect based on the description, but we still enjoyed the stay overall and appreciated the communication.

Wonderful property

The location could not be any better. Walking distance to Rittenhouse Square. Located on a quiet street with a wonderful deck it is a quintessential Philly home. Kitchen and living areas are great and the mattresses were very comfortable. We had some plumbing issues and an issue with a door but the host was very responsive. Parking is in the garage 3 to 4 blocks away comfortable walk and the garage staff was great. Would definitely go back again.

Celebrating our daughter's college graduation in Philadelphia

The townhouse was just as described. It was located in a safe, upscale, clean neighborhood within a short walk to Rittenhouse Square, where we ate nearly every night and window shopped during our free time. The townhouse accommodated our six family members easily, and could have fit more! The owners were accessible and accomodating and the town house had more than ample room. We had a wonderful time.

Return Visit to Philadelphia for Eagles game

We arrived Thursday and left Monday. The house was spacious (there were 5 of us), comfortable and very conveniently located near Rittenhouse Square. There were several restaurants and bars located nearby. Car parking was convenient but we walked (or took lublic transportation) everywhere so we didn't need to take the car out from the time we arrived until the time we left. I had a few questions upon arriving and got a quick response/resolution to my questions.

Comfortable Stay but Potential Not Realized

There is so much going for this century + old property - charm and location especially. In some ways however, the maintenance and general upkeep did not do justice to the home itself. That said, as far as cleanliness goes, it did almost completely meet expectations. I had provided a pretty extensive list of concerns to the owner, and based on follow up I expect / hope they will be addressed for future guests.

Very nice row home

Overall it was a nice house in downtown Philly. Nicely furnished with modern kitchen appliances. Well stocked and a nice touch was the selection of snacks greeting us in the kitchen. Included valet parking garage was 3 blocks away. Neighborhood was fairly nice / residential, though the street had heavy traffic so was noisy early mornings. Groceries and restaurants were a block away, and several nice parks were about 3 blocks away. House was the perfect size for 5-6 people. Just be aware the house is really old, like the vast majority of these houses downtown, and floors are creaky, doors don't close right, etc.

Great neighborhood and hosts were incredibly friendly, kind and responsive. Beds were comfortable. But, overall - the property is not well maintained. Things work properly - shower, toilets, etc but this property is in major need of repairs and updating. Floors need to be redone. Holes and cracks in walls. Molding is coming off. Tiles cracked and coming up. Many areas not properly sealed. It is apparent that the property owners have been trying to patch problems with the least expensive options just to keep things functioning but it's really time to do things properly. I'm sure this is a very expensive/valuable property given the location and it's a real shame that proper care and attention to the cosmetic aspects of the home have been overlooked for years. The kitchen is nice and must have been redone recently - but the bedrooms, bathrooms and hallways are pretty beat up. Sorry to be so painfully direct about the stay (especially given how friendly and professional the hosts were) but it's only fair to other travels to provide honest and direct feedback.

We had a wonderful stay in Philadelphia! The location of the VRBO was great with several small restaurants nearby and a few markets where we could purchase supplies. Our host was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. I truly appreciated that. Our host was accommodating for all of our needs.The place was comfortable and offered lots of great spaces where our family could spread out and have time together or alone. It was a very comfortable place for our family. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The rooms were neither too hot or too cold. It was a great place to stay.
