Beautiful two-bedroom, one bath Avalon home located only about 2 blocks from the beach and downtown restaurants and shops, an easy five-minute walk.

This cottage has everything you need and is just the place for your perfect Catalina Island vacation! The first bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom has three beds ( 1 Queen and Twin bunk bed) It offers an open and spacious living area, and a well-equipped kitchen. This unit comes with WIFI and outdoor BBQ.

Great location

House provided everything we needed and was just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Only complaint was the master bed was not level and slanted downwards. All in all a great stay.

While this property was in a great location, if cleanliness is a top priority, it’s probably not for you. It could use a power wash, inside and out. I definitely don’t recommend walking on the floors in white socks, as we did when we first entered, since you’ll never want to take your socks/shoes off again. The kitchen feels like it was stocked with whatever previous renters left and other plastic and very old supplies I can only guess were originally purchased with the property. Scratched non stick pans, black plastic cooking utensils, 30 spoons but only 3 forks, you get the picture. Fortunately the rental company was able to bring us 6 more forks during the stay. Also note that there is no cute outdoor seating area like in the photos. This has been turned into a bathroom, which is obviously an upgrade, but the photos should be updated.

Good communication up front during regular business hours, but went dark over the weekend. The place could definitely use some love and attention. It had the feel of a rookie management company/host but if they are veterans, then they only care about the bottom line. A more seasoned host wouldn’t miss things like clean pillowcases, having laundry detergent for the washer/dryer, a cheap plug-in device to make the old tv a smart one, double checking the dishes they ask their guests to clean before leaving are actually clean and having any construction work cleaned up afterwards prior to their guests arriving. The location is on a bit of a busy street, but very close to everything which was nice. Be aware of the sliding door to the bathroom because you’ll get locked in if you don’t have the strength to get out. Having a bunch of portable heaters was thoughtful. We would choose a different place to stay next time on the island.

Awesome Place

This house is just awesome. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and talking with all the passerbys. Super close to the store. Close to the beach and downtown. House had everything we needed. I left a very expensive night guard there. The cleaners found it and I had it back quickly.

Nice, cute place but needs some love and maintenance done. Was pretty dirty, floors and baseboards hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Front screen door was coming apart and bench in front of the house was rickety. Microwave was busted up, however there was one sitting on the counter. Just needs some live and attention and it would be perfect.

What a waste

We couldn’t get in until 5 and it poured all day. We were soaked and luggage soaked. Sat in a hotel lobby thinking-we should’ve done a hotel. We tried to go in at 5 but the smell of pine cleaners was wayyyyyy too strong. I’m allergic to pine. Overall just glancing it seemed kind of run down. We took the ferry back at 8 pm. What a waste. What a waste. Not returning to Catalina.
