Welcome to the Shenandoah Mountain Retreat! This 2,300 sq ft mountain home is the perfect place to relax & enjoy the Shenandoah Valley. Featuring a modern, cozy & open-concept interior with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, 5 beds, a movie & game room, a fireplace, an office & reading loft, and a large wrap-around porch w/ dining set & grill overlooking the serene Shenandoah mountains – you’ll find yourself not wanting to leave! Perfect for couples, families, and friends to gather and enjoy!

THE SPACE
The main level features a master bedroom (king bed) & second bedroom (queen bed); two full bathrooms (one attached to master); and an open-concept living space that includes a kitchen, living, and dining room with lofted ceilings. Inside the kitchen you'll find silverware, dishware, pots, pans, single serve pod & pot coffee maker, tea kettle, coffee & tea, dishwasher & dish soap, cooking utensils, and other necessities that you’re used to at home. The living room includes plenty of comfy seating to sit and relax on while you enjoy a movie! The dining room features a large dining table to seat friends and family for a nice dinner.

Upstairs you’ll find another bedroom (two twin beds), a full bathroom, and a loft overlooking the main level that is furnished with a desk and reading nook!

The basement includes a movie room with a sleeper sofa, pool table, and dart board.

Outside you’ll enjoy the wrap-around deck that includes a grill, dining set, and a serene view of the Shenandoah mountains.

The place looks just like the pictures and was very clean. The upstairs bedroom and office nook were great. Very cozy. My daughter worked remotely every morning at the desk. The kitchen was well-stocked and we loved the coffee bar area. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and being visited by deer every evening. The location was good for what we wanted to do - close to National Park and state parks. The Roku television worked well.

Great location by the apple house which has the best doughnuts and there is C&C icream around back. Vabrissa brewing isnt too far, they have great food and beers. Its located intown near some great local shops. The house cozy, comfortable and clean. The mattress are ones I would purchase for my own bed, and the game room downstairs is a bonus.Down river canoe company is also in the area and they provide day trips. You can canoe, kayak, or tube down the Shenandoah river.Come here and enjoy the area, its fantastic.

I loved the peaceful setting of this home — the views were absolutely beautiful, and we even had deer walking right through the yard, which made the stay feel extra special. The location is perfect if you’re planning to visit nearby wineries; there are so many great ones just a short drive away.A few things could be improved for future guests. We didn’t have enough towels, and when we messaged the hosts about needing more dishwasher pods, the response wasn’t very timely. Extra blankets would have also been nice, especially in the evenings.Overall, a lovely spot with incredible scenery, just needs a bit more attention to guest needs.

Very beautiful house in a secluded wooded area. Still close enough to drive to Shenandoah Nat Park and Luray caverns, etc. Would highly recommend staying here with a family of 5-6.

Spring Break.

Very clean and great semi secluded property with great views. Perfect for our family and conveniently located within few miles of everything. Host had the property ready with a little book for restaurants, grocery stores list and other items for reference. Would recommend to anyone for a nice and relaxing getaway.

Beautiful home for a relaxing stay

From the moment you arrive, stepping onto the wrap around porch, and then stepping you, you are surrounded by a beautiful home. The kitchen is stocked with needed items to cook, which is uncommon in most homes we've rented before. Plenty of places to relax, and the downstairs game room (pool table, darts, and board games along with another tv) made for some enjoyable memories.

Great getaway

We gathered to celebrate all of our 50th birthdays. Even though it rained our first two days, we stayed in and played games and truly enjoyed our time together! Cute place to escape for a long weekend! Owners were prompt with their responses to our questions!

VERY RELAXING

This was our first time staying in Virginia, and what a fantastic find this house was! It was extremely clean, with a well-stocked kitchen. They even provided snacks for us on arrival, which was a nice touch. The hosts communicated with us regularly, checking in to make sure everything was going well with our stay. They also sent clear instructions the day before for all checkout requirements. Anytime we had a question, they responded quickly and helpfully. EXCELLENT HOSTS AND HOUSE — highly recommend!

Lovely Mamas Weekend Location

Four mamas had a comfortable stay in this cabin that is tucked away enough to be peaceful and close enough for quick runs for essentials like pizza, drinks and muumuus. The hosts responded promptly to questions. The house was clean and well stocked. We worked on our first day and there was space for us to spread out and focus. The loft area was especially well set up for remote working. There are a variety of wineries within a short drive. Would absolutely book again.

Mountain cabin delight!

This property was very nice and clean. We had a group of friends get together from all over the world, England, California, Florida and Virginia and we all enjoyed the house. The deck and view of the mountains was beautiful and at night the stars were amazing...Orion's belt was visible right through the trees off the deck! Having a pool table and darts was nice to have as well. Overall our experience was 11/10 and would highly recommend for a family or friends getaway.

This was an accurate listing and the reviews were as described. An amazing house, the owners were attentive with any reported issues. I strongly recommend and will rent again. Oure oasis.

Clean beautiful quite safe. This lovely home was just what we needed,a safe respit befor my sons procedure. We arrived to a clean,beautiful,quite,and safe spot for the night.Everything was as promised so refreshing. Check in was a easy and check out was evion easer.. the pool table and games made the trip more like a minnie vacation than a hafto trup. Thank you for all you done to make this trip the most successful one thus far. The location was close enough to make the morning commute easy but far enough away from the caoss to feel more like home.

Cute Contemporary Cabin Vacay

We had a great time during our stay in this contemporary/modern cabin - nice change from the traditional. It's as pictured and very well kept (CLEAN & FRESH). The area is surrounded by other homes, yet has privacy and quiet. We used the grill (glad we found the spare tank in the middle of cooking) and had fun with the down stairs games. The only negative for us all were that the beds were unusually hard/firm for comfort. We enjoyed the mornings and evenings in the cabin and our days riding our motorcyles, enjoying the beautiful scenary in the surrounding areas including the winding roads of the scenic Shenandoah national park skyline drive. Indeed, a nice get-away and wonderful memories made with our adult son!
