Perfect Weekend Getaway

The home was perfect and so beautiful. We loved the wrap around porch, the fire pit by the water and easy access to the lake right out the back door. Everyone said their beds were comfortable, the master bed was slightly harder than we expected but we are pretty spoiled with our bed at home . Overall great experience.

Peaceful, quiet, serene. We plan to rebook.

Beautiful landscaping. Pretty view of the Cove. Outside deck is wonderful to sit and listen to the breeze through the trees or all the birds, the lovely rain.

Nice place

The lake house was large as pictured and the kitchen was well appointed. There was some construction in the neighborhood so just be aware of the possible noise. We had a nice time with our extended family.

Perfect, quiet location on water

The house was perfect for five couples staying for the weekend. Very comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room to spread out. The house is in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a cove with access to water. No boat dock available but we utilized the Yacht Club down the road to catch our chartered boat rental. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was perfect for meeting friends for my wife's birthday party! This property was very private and located next to all necessary amenities (restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, Etc.)

Great escape!!

This was our first time in Sunrise Beach after many years at the lake. We had an issue this year and needed a pet friendly spot. This home was great and met all of our needs. It was incredibly clean and welcoming. The area was so quiet we felt like the only ones there which is exactly what we needed for our escape. We would definitely stay again with or without pets.

Perfect For Any Type of Stay

This was by far one of the best stays we have had. The house was exceptionally clean and was stocked with everything we needed and more. Beds were high quality and very comfortable. Decor was lovely. The wrap around porch and multiple outside seating areas were perfect for taking in all the beautiful views and fresh air. Sitting next to the water made for a peaceful retreat. This private and stunning setting would be great in any season for small or large families or even just a couples getaway. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend!

Family gathering

This property was even better than expected. Beautiful, quiet area away from all the action but close to it all. We had fishing poles in water as soon as we got there. With no worries about boat traffic, the kids and dogs played in the water. We grilled out, enjoyed a movie night, roasted marshmallows by the fire while enjoying the lake and fishing. The road is so quiet, we walked our dogs off leash and our 4yr old grandson rode his bike. Lots of deer, even in the backyard. The beds were comfortable and everything we needed. This truly felt like our own home. The kids cried when we had to leave ☺️ We definitely hope to stay here again in the future

Our Sons Graduation from Military Engineering

Our family traveled from Scottsdale Arizona, Kansas City, Wilmington NC, Louisville Ky, Chicago Ill and Asheville NC for first vacation in the Ozarks. The process booking online was easy and the home was beautiful. After multiple flights, driving, we looked forward to bathing to attend our festivities on Friday evening. Unfortunately, the water was shut off completely throughout the house. I messaged the owner and contacted VRBO immediately, A letter under the house door from the village of Camden County stating water to be shut off on July 15 if water bill was not paid in full. Since we did not receive response or direction from the owner or VRBO my spouse called Camden County office. The village of Camden County confirmed that multiple attempts verbally and by letter were made by the village to collect on past due water bills. Sadly, our family had to miss a party event celebrating our sons graduation. Then quickly rearranged several dinners, planned get togethers due to no water in the home. The owners messaged me in the evening. The water was eventually turned on.

It is sad that such a negative statement is left without the full details about what happened. We apologized for the water situation and immediately fixed the issue when it was brought to our attention by calling and having them come out immediately. It was on within an hour of your arrival that the water was on, and we explained that there was a mailing issue with addresses as well as an auto pay issue that has all been resolved. Our cleaners were there earlier and the water was on and see nothing there stating otherwise. You stated that you’d be having 2 guests stay when in fact you had 8 people staying there and with pets that we were not informed about. Also, you hosted parties/get together as at our home which is against renting guidelines. We strive to make our guests happy and comfortable. We were notified by our cleaning crew that the coffee maker was not working so we had a brand new one with coffee waiting for you all upon your arrival. We have never had an issue like this before and we are saddened that it happened, but we resolved it quickly and it would have left plenty of time for you to have made it to your event. You said the home was beautiful, clean and great for staying in a message to us-but your review doesn’t reflect that. Again, we apologize for your unfortunate experience while here and hope your future stays with Vrbo hosts work better for you.

Lake house 1179 was purchased in the fall of 2021. After visiting the Lake of the Ozarks for most of our lives we decided to take the step of having our own place to go when visiting the lake. We wanted space for family and friends to join us and enough room for everyone to be comfortable. We found this house and there was no second guessing, we knew this was it! We did some renovating the first year and then decided to open the house up for others to enjoy as well. We hope you enjoy your stay and create great memories just like we have done!
