Thank you for your feedback, Ed, and for the kind words about our hospitality. We always strive to provide a comfortable and transparent experience for our guests. To help future travelers, we would love to clarify a few details about our space and the local area: Location & Beach Access: Our property is located in an older, rapidly revitalizing coastal community. We are less than a 1-mile walk (about 10 minutes) from the beach, and guests also have the unique option to drive right onto the sand just 5 minutes away. Neighborhood Amenities: While Pismo Beach is a great neighbor, Grover Beach offers some of the best local dining on the Central Coast, with several top-tier restaurants within walking distance. Room Layout & Amenities: This space is an efficiency suite designed for maximum comfort. We recently remodeled the closet into a custom bar and seating area based on guest feedback, providing hooks for hanging clothes. The patio features a peaceful, tropical garden setting with palm trees and ferns. Appliances & TV: The suite features a brand-new Smart TV with premium subscriptions (Netflix, YouTube TV, Prime, Max, and Showtime). While the BBQ was awaiting a new igniter switch, it was fully functional and available upon request. We take great pride in our 10 years of hosting travelers from all over the world. We are always on-site or a quick message away to accommodate special requests and ensure a wonderful stay.

HI Bridget - thank you for your review, kind words, and feedback! I'm sorry we never got the chance to meet given the space was booked for friends of yours visiting for a wedding I believe - nonetheless, it was a pleasure meeting and hosting the two of them as they were a very nice couple and we were happy to accommodate. For the record, the house is generally vacant for all visiting guests and is a very peaceful and quiet environment including the area in which we live. If we may be home with visiting guests, you can rest assured we’re always very respectful of their space and privacy! The hallway is more prone to sounds from time to time during daytime hours however, the rest of the house including the bedroom has never been an issue. At any rate - we were happy to greet and meet them during their visit and you’re all welcome back anytime! ;) Cheers, Scott
