Where do I begin, we loved this house and property so much! We had family renting another house across the cove and could not have enjoyed our vacation more. Sunset Cove was beautiful, well stocked, comfortable, and so cozy for our family. Our expectations for this trip were high, and they were not just met but exceeded. We will so happily be back!

Beautiful house, the lake is calm, clear and perfect. Relaxing was extremely easy. Beds are super comfortable . Very clean, host provided last of games, kayaks, firewood, snacks. Great time was had by all.

Sunset Cottage is a beautiful, peaceful lake home to vacation! The host was very responsive and the home was clean and spacious. Loved the lake and hot tub. It was close to shopping and recreation areas. We had a great time!

Had a great stay at the sunset cottage! Great layout of rooms we had a girls weekend there. There is a small kitchenette and extra fridge downstairs with the game area and the sunsets were awesome! Quiet area, host was very responsive and there were even K cups there for coffee! Great little spot and easy to follow instructions. We will be back.

Beautiful clean home

My husband and my daughter with 5 of her friends had a fantastic weekend celebrating her 17th bday at this lovely home on lake Oconee. The host Shelly was very helpful and her home couldn’t have been any better for our weekend getaway. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Stunning

This was our second time at this property and we will definitely be back! Instant relaxation when you walk in the door and see the lake. The house is decorated to perfection and feels so cozy. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful home with a great view

We enjoyed our stay…making smores by the firepit, warming up in the hottub, watching TV while grilling on the terrace, and watching the sunset on the dock. We appreciated Shelly’s responsiveness when needed and the cozy atmosphere of the house.

Everything we were looking for & more!

We LOVED our stay at The Sunset Cottage and are already planning our next trip back! The view was even better than the pictures and there was so many things to do at the house. Especially loved the fire pit, kayaks, and hanging on the dock! 10/10!!

Bridal party stay

We rented this house for our daughter and her bridal party to stay while in town for her wedding. All of the girls, including the bride, loved the house and kept talking about how nice it was.

Amazing Stay at Lake Oconee!

This property at Lake Oconee is perfect! I would live here if I could. My daughter said it best, “Can we come back every year? This was an amazing get away!” I would highly recommend staying here. Clean, beautiful, Great Lake views, and super comfy beds! You won’t regret picking this lake house for your next away trip!

Lake Life

From the moment we entered the home we knew that there attention to detail in the decoration would encompass the quality of the stay. Perfectly decorated, comfortable and convenient. Absolutely beautiful

The pictures don’t do it justice!! Difficult to choose which is more beautiful, the impeccably furnished home or the stunning view. Absolutely perfect, we will definitely be booking this home again. Shelley is very responsive and a joy to deal with.

Relaxing family time

We loved the house! The floor plan was great and it had all the amenities we wanted. It was very clean - just delightful, really. We ate out on the covered deck every evening. We loved the fire pit and ping pong and the other games. Shelly was very responsive. Appropriately named Sunset Cottage! The sunsets were beautiful.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

It really doesn't get better than this. This is the perfect get away and the home is perfection. The home is beautiful, spotless, and equipped with everything you need for the perfect lake escape. From kayaks to the fire pit, games, hot tub, beautiful porch and deck to the well-stocked kitchen upstairs AND down, comfy beds, this is a must stay! I can't wait to go back. The owner was so accommodating and gracious as well!
